Carolina looked around, and started to walk. She noticed the farther she walked, the darker Wonderland became. She stopped and listened for any sign of movement or sound and realized that blue birds could be heard. Maybe, just maybe it wasn't so bad in this place. "Is anyone there?" she called again, this time her voice was a bit shaken. She looked back at were she started and looked to where she was headed. She was headed for a forest that was dark, and seemed entangled with brambles and thorns. "What is in there?" she thought.

The bells got louder. Julia cringed in pain as the sharp sounds of metal clanging together hurt her ears. No, no.. It can't be.. It can't be! she thought, her eyes widening. Paranoia and fear were common whenever Alice came to Wonderland. Was Alice returning? That, nobody knew the answer to. "Alright. Just calm down. Hopefully this intruder, not Alice, isn't able to get through the barriers. If so.. We're screwed."

Carolina looked at the brambles and walked around the "Barrier". "Odd, this was never mentioned in her diary." Carolina thought as she opened the frail, yellowed book. She flipped carefully through the pages and noticed something that hadn't been there before. This page was covered with a crimson substance, it looked like blood, but Carolina refused to believe that. The substance on the page isn't what scared her, it was the picture itself. There was a tree on the page and it had ever relative that didn't come back from Wonderland, hung on a noose, on this tree. She almost dropped the book and the her mind started to have twisted thought. "NO!" she said out loud before those thoughts could grow anymore.

Julia stumbled backwards as a loud whistle pierced the air. "Oh dear. it's okay, it'll be okay, Julia... Just remember, it isn't Alice." The fact that Julia was panicking was quite surprising, seeing that she was actually a close friend of the first Alice. The sounds soon stopped. "Huh?" Julia said.

Carolina stayed where she was, then she tried walking through the barrier. It was tough, but she finally got through. She saw the tree that was in the diary she just opened and stopped walking mid-stride. There were no bodies on the tree, but it was still eerie. -
Julia sat down in her seat. "Haaaaah.. Must've been a false alarm." A pair of blue orbs were staring at her once again. "Chesire, please go away," she said. There was a hint of annoyance in her voice. "But why? Are you paranoid?" His smirk twisted into a wicked grin.

Carolina kept walking, even though something was telling her to steer away. She started to see trees that looked like crimson blood. She even thought she saw a river that was blood red, but it had to be her imagination, right?

"The intruder is approaching--" before Chesire could finish, Julia gripped her seat, her nails somehow digging into the wood. "This can't be happening! Didn't I already handle this? We don't need another war with Dementia."

Carolina hear voices, they were unclear, but still voices. She walked closer and then a twig snapped and everything went dead quiet. So many thoughts were running in her head at the moment, that she just froze and stared ahead.
