Dante sat in the dark before falling asleep he was turned over on his side face facing the back of the wall away from the bars.

Max walked down the stairs, hoping his mother didn't follow him. "Dante!!" he said.

Being tired out he didn't wake up , well he did but he didn't show it.

Max sighed and stood in front of Dante's cell. He walked in and sat down beside him and watch him sleep.

Dante tensed as he felt The prince sit next to him but he didn't move.,

Max yawned but he didn't fall asleep. He made sure Dante was safe and nothing would happen to him.

Dante was waiting for Max to leave but he was getting nervous and he messed up and moved his arm he hit a sharp bit of stone and he gasped in pain , he hoped the prince handy seen or heard it or he might not leave Dante alone.

Max heard the gasp and looked over at Dante. He seemed fine and no one was around so Max looked back at the door of the cell and ran his fingers through his hair.

Dante opened one eye and saw his hand was bleeding , a lot. s--- what am I going to do' he thought.

Max looked around and stood up, but he didn't glance Dante's way. He stretched and opened his wings. His tail also flicked to the left.

Dante moved closer to the wall but on the same edge he had caught his hand on he stabbed his side with , he screamed out in pain.

Max looked back at Dante, and went over to him. "Are you ok?" he asked already knowing the answer, because there was a tiny amount of blood flowing from his side.

" why do you care?!" Dante snapped holding his side tensing in great pain.

Max hid how he felt, but gave a curt reply. "I care because you were down here longer than me and you need help." he said, worridly. Max said a couple of words and Dante's wounds were healed.
