Ranukun saw Nightmare in the distance and she could tell Nightmare had just noticed her as well. Without a frown a single tear shed from Ranukun's eye and dropped onto the soil below. A single gray flower sprouted from the ground. That had always happened when Ranukun cried and a tear came into contact with the soil.

Nightmare howled in sorrow as her ears went back and her tail tucked in.She lowered her head and layed down and covered her eyes with her paws.

Ranukun took the cap of the beaker pressed it to her lips. She thought about it for about 5 seconds before she drank the light gray liquid. Ranukun started to glow as she closed her eyes.

Nightmare uncovered her eyes before seeing a glow in the distance.She then ran towards the glow.

Ranukun rose up in glowing light and sprouted a pair of gray feather wings. She wrapped her wings around herself and flew up higher.

Nightmare stopped and looked up at her flying before she howled sadly as tears rimmed her eyes.

Ranukun opened her eyes. Her eyes were full black. The iris, the pupil, the whites, all black. Her clothing changed into a long black dress with long black boots and long black gloves.

Nightmare whimpered as she watched in slight fear and confusion before she lowered her ears.

Ranukun fell to the ground and ran to Nightmare.

Nightmare saw her and began to back up.

"Trust me. Its not me you need to worry about. The shadows have broken free from their prisons. I only changed to my ultimate form to protect myself." Ranukun explained to Nightmare. All around them the could see little dark shadowy spirits flying around.

Nightmare nodded her head as she calmed down.

Suddenly a shadow came flying at Nightmare and Ranukun. Ranukun wrapped her wings around both of them to protect them. The shadow disappeared when it hit Ranukun's wing.
