She left the apartment and started down the street

Shadow sighed softly and shut the book and took it to his room

Athena was deep in thought as she crossed the street.

Shadow played on the bed and started looking threw the book again

Once at the hospital she got in the car, starting the engie

Shadow started to fall asleep

The sound of the revved engine brought back the memory of the crash. The crash had left her with PTSD. She flashed back to the headlights shining in her face that night as she tried to turn the car out of the way. She remembered Shadow throwing himself in front of her as the airbag blew

Shadow fell asleep, curling around the book

She felt as if she were back in the moment. She screams and kicked the steering wheel in terror

Shadow twitched in his sleep and roles over

She buried her face in her hands, trying to get a hold on her anxiety

Shadow roles over again and fell off the bed with a yelp

She drove back to the apartment

Shadow rubbed his head, wincing slightly before he got back on to the bed and fell back asleep
