Jack chuckled a little, rather happy with Zarion and how he seemed to calm the smaller one down. "You too... Would you like a pillow? Are you comfy?"

"I am comfy" I said kind of knowing what he meant but kind of not, but I was just tired, a few minutes later I was on the floor with my eyes closed

Jack nodded and turned off the light, took a few deep breaths, and fell asleep.
The next morning, his alarm woke him up at 5:30. He slammed his fist onto the snooze button and rolled over, savoring the last few minutes of sleep. -
The sudden noise of the alarm clock startled me awake and I quickly stood up and knocked something random over near me by mistake ( XD )

He jerked awake as he heard a lamp crash to the ground. At first, he was startled and kind of scared by the newcomer, until he remembered the night before. "Jesus Zarion...are you alright?" -
I was still a bit startled but looked over towards jack, "y-yes I am ok" I said, I was hoping I didn't end up breaking the thing I knocked over, so I went over and put it back up

"Alright.." He turned off the alarm and got clothes together as he watched Zarion set up the lamp. "I'm going to take a shower and bring up some breakfast. Do you want sometbing?"

I turned towards jack rather confused not really sure what a shower was, but now I was hungry enough to really notice it, "yes"

He nodded as he grabbed a towel. "Alright, what do you like to eat? Meat, vegetables, potatoes...?"

( he could eat many things, including bugs, that was kind of how he is still alive )
"Anything..." I said, I was still a bit clumsy from being startled awake, also I didn't have much energy from being hungry for a while -
(Mm, makes sense.)
He nodded slowly, thinking. "Okay. I'll take a shower. Parents will be gone by then and maybe you can hit the fridge. Explore a little." -
"Ok" I said, I knew I still didn't understand what a shower was, but I just wanted to sit back down and relax, which was what I did

Jackson nodded and left with his things. Half an hour later, he emerged from the bathroom, fully clean and in his work uniform. Usually, his shift was from 7-3, but he had to work a double yesterday since a friend was sick, so he had gone from 7 am to 11 pm. He had met Zarion because of it, and was happy for that, but didn't really want to pull another double. He entered his room and shoved his pajamas under the pillow

I was somehow asleep on the ground again, I just didn't catch myself dozing off again ( blerp had a small RP block XD )

Jack's hair was naturally straight, so he just brushed it a little before deciding to go wake up Zarion. The creature needed to eat a least a little something. He would let it sleep afterwards, but he knew that food was necessary.
