Avery left and walked into the neighborhood. She knew that they needed time.

Shade cried.

Fang was hit hard but he couldn't do anything about it now.

Shade got out of the closet as he sniffled"Mom wants me to be the leader of the pack...."

Fang heard him and sighed. "I see." He mumbled. "He is not suited for these kinds of things." Fang thought to himself. Avery walked faster and the guys began to run after her.

Shade teleported to Avery as he growled.

The two guys brought out a silver knife and began throwing it towards them. Avery grabbed Shade and teleported away.

Shade frowned"I'm just going to let Fang be the leader of the pack...."

"What? Your mom put you in charge of the pack and she knows that you can do it!" Avery said with her hand on his shoulders.

"Fang was right....I'm just not suited for this...." Shade said as he shook his head.

Avery sighed and closed her eyes. "Shade! Please don't be stubborn. Your mother wants you to be leader and she trust you the most!" Avery said.

"B-But...." Shade said.

"But what? You can do this! You need to believe in yourself..." Avery said, opening her eyes.
