"I'll have to get far away from here when it starts...." Shade said as he sighed.

"But you can't leave, the baby needs you when I give birth...I need you!" She said as she began to cry into her knees.

Shade lifted her head as he kissed her.

Avery kissed him back. She broke the kiss and sighed.

Shade closed his eyes.

Avery hugged her knee as she weeped silently.

Shade sighed.

She wiped her tears. "Your gonna come back though, right?" She asked.

"I will try to...." Shade said as he opened his eyes.

"You have to promise me, your gonna come back." Avery said as she scooted over to him and hugged him.

"I promise" Shade as he hugged her back.

Avery cried into his shoulder.

Shade rubbed her back.

Avery broke the hug as she wiped her tears. "When are you coming back? When are you leaving?" She asked multiple questions.

"Whenever time tells and maybe tomorrow" Shade said as he sighed.
