*jumps back, just as that section of tunnel behind barrier collapses*
Boy: Oops.. -
Iann: *leans forward, peering* What're you trying to do?

Great going, Furn, the boss is gonna kill you. *disgusted noise, retracts claws, tail swishing*
Furnace:..Well, I was trying to open the tunnel to Daedalus's old workshop, so we could retrieve some items..But I think I broke that section of the labyrinth.. -
Iann: ..Who's your boss? And.. Daedalus, as in the guy from the myth? The one with the kid that flew too close to the sun..?

The boss is Daedalus. Well, him and his former apprentice, Razkaos.
Furnace: Yes, the very same. Though, if you run into him down here, best not to bring Icarus up. -
Iann: ..Hm. And why are you trying to get into his workshop?

It's his old workshop. He has multiple ones, but this one he hasn't used in forever.
Furnace: He wanted an old automaton he had in there.
