  "Hello," Mitchel replied, though he ignored the outstretched hand. He slid past the man, opening the back door of the car, sliding into the seat. He gave the man a look, quickly deciding that he was little more than a servant. "My bags aren't very heavy, so you shouldn't have much trouble moving them. The smallest one had my laptop in it," He paused, almost laughing, realizing he had almost said life source instead of laptop, "So be careful with it. Put it on top, please."
  
  With that, he shut the door, laying down on his back across the seat. He didn't feel like talking, or having the man stare at him, so he pulled out his phone, flipping quickly to his music. He put his headphones in, and closed his eyes.
  
  Even though his world seemed to be shaking, the steady notes of piano and flute seemed to be.. Right. Mitchel hoped that the man would let him keep his phone and laptop. He didn't know what he would do without them, even more so if he were to be locked in a room alone.
  
  Of course, the young boy knew exactly the reason the man had chosen him as a payment. His father had offered their house, for goodness sake. But Vincent, or, whatever his name was, had wanted him. Why, Mitchel didn't like to think about.
