He reached up to gently stroke Xavier's ears while he sipped from the milk, using his free hand to finish his own dinner. Once they were ready, he helped his mate clean up, Kale following them with the widest smile on his face. Dimitri rose a brow at him. "Why are you so happy?"
"Because my best friend is happier than he's ever been. I've never seen this side of you. Is that what having a mate really does to you?" Kale asked curiously. "I can't wait to find that."
The larger Alpha smiled fondly at the other. "Well you sound like you have your plan, I'm sure any Omega would be happy to have you."
"I hope so!" The smaller chirped. -
Xavier set the carton down when he was finished, licking the little bit of dairy that had escaped off of his lips before following his Alpha and his roommate. He eyed Kale as he walked beside the albino, wondering how someone could have such a big smile. He frowned, looking the small Alpha up and down. "How are you guys supposed to get mates if they're no Omegas here at all?" He asked lookking up at Dimitri, pursing his lips. Were they supposed to wait until they got out of school? That seemed like such a long time to wait for a mate.

Dimitri smiled at Xavier when he asked Kale about Alphas finding mates and reached up to pet his soft head.
"That's a good question. I actually hear that the Alpha schools are going to start having get togethers with Omega schools, in order to bring the two together. But most of the time, Alphas will seek mates during break periods." Kale explained, hoping the idea would pass that the academies could have social events together. "I hope to find a mate of mine own soon, but if I have to wait, I will." -
Xavier gave a shy smile when his head was petted, happy that he had done something right. If he didn't, why would have his Alpha petted him? He didn't think they just praised for no reason. Or maybe that was what mates did, Xavier wouldn't know. "I want Omega friends," he said with a frown, looking up at Dimitri with sad eyes. "Everytime I try to be friends with an Alpha they keep touching me and I just want friendship," he said innocently. He had never really had friends except for one Beta he met named Lucifer who was really mean to Xavier, but Xavier still counted him as some sort of friend. He at least spoke to him. "I hope you find a mate soon," he said to Kale with a smile.

Dimitri wasn't praising his mate. He simply enjoyed the little Omega's adorable presence and feeling his ears. But a frown came over his lips when Xavier wished to have other Omega friends, feeling the loneliness his mate felt.
Kale gave him a sympathetic smile. "Well, seeing as your Dim's mate, we can be friends, too. I won't touch you like the others do, mainly because your Alpha would break me. But also because I believe I've met the Omega, the mate, of my dreams already. I want to see him again, see if anyone's marked him yet." -
Xavier's face lit up when the smaller Alpha said he would be his friend. He felt loved and cared for and it felt really nice. He tilted his head slightly at that. "Really? That's adorable! I hope not, you seem like you could use a mate. Not that you seem lonely or anything.." He blushed a little, realizing that he was ranting. "Everyone deserves to be happy," Xavier finished quietly, blushing deeply now and looking down at his small feet.

Kale blushed, scratching the back of his neck mervously when they finally reached his and Dimitri's dorm room. "You sure do just let your words flow, huh, little Omega? But you're very kind and sweet. And yeah, I hope I can reach him soon. I don't anyone to take him away. My name's Kale, by the way." He told the younger, yawning as he unlocked the door, holding the door open for them. "Get what you need, Dim."
Dimitri nodded and walked in to change into pajamas and grab his backpack alone with a change of clothes for the next day. -
Xavier let out a little giggle when he saw the blush on the smaller Alpha's face. He had never really seen an Alpha blush before. "I guess so. I don't mean to so I kinda embarrass myself half the time and the other half of the time I make no sense.." He said quietly, walking into the room behind his Alpha, hands clasped behind him tightly. The lace panties he were wearing were basically covered in slick by now just due to his heat and he noticed it when he leaned against the wall, waiting for Dimitri. He blushed deeply and hid his face in the sleeves of his Alpha's jacket, praying they couldn't smell it.

Kale smiled warmly and shook his head. "I know it's weird to be the only different one in the academy, but just relax. Dim will take care of you now. Ah, he marked you, didn't he? You won't ever have to worry about being in trouble because he'll find and take care of the problem." Of course he could smell the slick, both of the Alphas could, but Kale knew better. It wasn't his place to mention it.
Once Dimitri had gathered his things, he held out his hand for Xavier to take, looking at his roommate. "Thank you for helping me with everything. And for not trying to take my mate."
The smaller nodded lightly. "Don't mention it, Dim." -
"It's not as much weird as it is nerve wracking, I guess. Not really the most relaxing and luxurious position to be in, really." He said with a grim smile, taking his mate's hand and moving to stand at his side. Standing on his tip toes, he gave the larger Alpha a sweet kiss on his cheek. "Can we go back to my room now? I'm tired.." He said sheepishly, pursing his lips. He glanced over at the smaller Alpha and gave him a small smile. "Thank you for being so kind towards me. It's nice to know I finally have someone I can call a friend."

"Well, no need to be nervous anymore. Any smart Alpha would know to keep their hands off you now, and the more you're around Dim here, the more you'll have his scent on you." Kale stretched, starting to get changed himself. He shook his head at Xavier, a tired smile on his face. "No need to thank me. I was just raised better than some of these jerks. Goodnight, you two. Rest up."
"Goodnight, Kale." Dimitri gave Xavier a nod, grinning at the kiss to his cheek, and walked back to the secluded room with his mate. "Cuddle time for my kitten?" -

"Goodnight, Kale. Sleep well." He hummed happily as he walked back to his room with the Alpha, nodding eagerly when the finally reached the door. "Yes, please~" He sung, reaching in his pocket and pulling out the key. He unlocked the door quickly, shutting it and locking it when they were both inside. He dropped his mate's hand and walked over to the dresser, taking out a sweater that was way too big for him and slipping out of the clothes he had worn to dinner, keeping the slick soaked lace panties on just because he was too lazy to deal with it. He slipped the sweater on which reached down to his thighs and eagerly crawled into the large bed, eager for cuddles. -

Dimitri waited for Xavier to change, noticing just how wet his panties were. Actually, he noticed the fact that his mate was wearing panties instead of boxers like earlier. And the smell of slick that seemed to just rush out at him. The Alpha had to bite his lower lip to keep from rousing himself. Twice in one day was too much already. Once the Omega was in bed, Dimitri climbed in beside him, wrapping the younger in his arms and pulling him into his chest. "You really should take those off. They're soaking wet." -

Xavier rolled his eyes and let out a little huff but reached one arm down to tug them down, tossing them into a hamper that was set beside the dresser. "Then I'll just wear no undergarments, too lazy to grab another pair.." He mumbled, snuggling into his Alpha's chest before letting out a little kitten yawn. "I'm still not sure about this whole mate thing..I don't even know what I'm supposed to do to make you happy enough to stay with me," he said quietly with a frown. -

Dimitri chuckled lightly and allowed the Omega to shift around discarding the panties and listening to his declaration of refusing to get a new pair. "That's fine. More kitten butt for me to feel." The older teased as he reached a hand down to give Xavier's rear a gentle squeeze. He pressed a tender kiss to his mate's forehead when he yawned, holding him as close as possible. "Don't worry. It'll take time for you to develop a sixth sense to my emotions. Alphas immediately know what their mates are feeling after marking them. Omegas learn through knotting. The more we do it, the more you'll start to feel it, too, Xavier."
