Drayven walked down the cracked sidewalk and smiled. She looked up at the clouds in the sky and felt the soft patter of raindrops hit her head. "This is wonderful." she muttured.

turning carter confirmed her mistress wasn't there she walked out the door and to her mistresses location

Drayven started to walked home but felt like something was following her. She brushed off the feeling and continued.

Beside her Carter appeared "Mistress you should be out by yourself" she said politley

Drayven jumped like she was shot. "And why is that?" she replied with a curt nod.

" Many reasons the brooke company alone being a reason many would hold you for ransom , revenge for the victims of the man who framed your brother there families a great few of them were rich enough to exact revenge and as stated in my contract your wellbeing and safety is what I must guard" Carter said

Drayven looked at Carter and smiled. "i think I could take care of myself, after all I do know how to fight. That is the one thing my dad had cared to teach me."

" Ahh yes my young mistress but I am not the only demon around I know of at least two others with contracts towards a human one of which I was aware of harbour a vendetta against you " the demon maid said " and what kind of maid would I be if I left my mistress without breakfast" she smiled
