The Queen of death opened the box to find a lost soul in a black jar "well hello my little lost soul ' she said in a dark voice -

The Blood Queen flew at him in a wave of fury. -
Ignores and continues walking.
"I'll bring your brother, there is no need for a promise but in return we will eat at somewhere nice after this is over."
Let's be honest he is probably in reach of his gun. -
"I work through blood promises, you know that. You wouldn't want the Black Spot ot befall you now would you?" she said.

Thinks for a moment.
"Well serving you can't be the worst thing in the world, However We are still eating after this." -
The Queen of death smiled and sat down to look at the lost soul

The Blood Queen pulled a knife from her robes and smiled. "Cut on your palm and sign this contract." she said as she rolled out a contract.

Carter was tending to the trees on her way she has stolen something from a fallen realm well technically it was her domain she just tended not to go there the realm of imaginary worlds
