Wynter got out to his car and fired up the engine. On the way to the meeting, he called in a pizza- Randson's favorite- and told them to deliver it as soon as possible. He felt bad for not making the boy anything, and was glad he left $15 on the small table by the door. He arrived at the coffee shop around the same time ghe pizza arrived at the house.
-
Randson was surprised when he heard the doorbell ring. He had been reading some book about how famous people had died, curled up next to Nonna when it rang. He got up and opened the door, even more surprised to see the pizza guy standing there. He searched for money and lucky found $15 on the small table beside the door. He handed it to the man, telling him to keep the change, and carried the hot pizza to the kitchen.
-
As he walked into the shop, he wondered if having them write "I love you" on the inside of the box was a good idea, but quickly shook the thought from his head when he saw the person he was meeting with.
-
Randson hummed as he opened the box, pleased to see it was his favorite: meat lovers. He picked up a few slces and set them down on a paper plate, blushing when he saw the message that was written on the inside of the box
-
They talked for well over half an hour, about everything. His past, what was going on at home, his teaching ambitions, Randson. The person recommended a few things, but ultimately suggested some mood stabilizers. They handed Wynter a bottle of 50 and told him where to get more. He thanked the man and walked back out to his car.
-
Randson ate over half of the pizza just by himself. He left three pieces for his boyfriend, in case he was hungry when he got home. Deciding there was nothing better to do, Randson picked Nonna up and went outside. It was already dark, around seven o'clock. Randson sat crisscross in the middle of the yard with Nonna, waiting for Wynter to come home.
-
Wynter got into his car and sighed. Popping one of the pills into his mouth, he wasn't sure if Randson was ready for him to come home yet or not. He sighed and glanced at his phone. The school was still open, maybe he could use the weight room or something. He sighed and leaned back.
-
Randson got bored and fell backwards onto his back. Nonna sat down on his stomach as the boy looked at the stars. There were very few in the sky that night, but the ones that were there shined brighter than any star Randson had ever seen before. He smiled up at the sky, becoming a little tired as he layed down.
-
Wynter sighed again and decided to just go home. He suddenly felt very protective of Randson and wanted to make sure he was okay. He got home in about 8 minutes.
-
Randson soon fell asleep on the grass, a few minutes before Wynter came home. Nonna was running around the yard in circles, mewing at anything that moved.
-
Wynter parked the car and moved towards Randson. The little idiot had fallen asleep where anyone could get to him. He smiled lightly and scooped the boy up bridal style, setting the cat on top of him. He carried the two into the house, where he closed the door and carried them upstairs. He set Randson on the bed and grabbed the younger's pajamas.
-
Randson woke up when he felt someone pick him up. He opened his eyes slightly and saw that is was Wynter and relaxed in his arms. Closing his eyes, he snuggled up to his boyfriend's chest. He curled up into a tight ball when he was set on the bed, yawning.
-
Wynter smiled at the small frame and sighed, wondering how the hell he could ever hurt something so soft, so beautiful. He changed the boy into pajamas before peeling off his own shirt and jeans. He slipped on his athletic pants used for sleeping and layed down not far from Randson.
-
Randson scooted over towards his boyfriend and curled up against his bare chest, closing his eyes. Soon enough, his boyfriend's warmth brought him into a deep sleep.
-
Wynter sighed happily and wrapped one arm around his boyfriend. He curled in a little, protectively covering Randson's little body. He tightened his grip and slipped one arm until the younger's head. He knew that he was the only real danger to the boy, but felt better in a protective position anyway.
