(Yeah, sorry if I sound a little English teacher here but: I tend to always give my characters one big flaw, or at least try to. If you ever have trouble making a balanced character, try to make a pro-con list, with at least one pro and one con.
Sorry for that. But, do tell Esme's bad quality?))
"Whatcha workin on?" Ashen's boss asked gruffly. The girl wasn't sure if the stairs or his bones were creaking.
"Some guard commissioned some personal armour for himself. He payed half earlier," Ashen said, tilting her head towards the coins on the old table. The old man hobbled towards the table, snatching the coins. -
( Esme is strong physically but behind her strong facade is a scared little girl she can barely control her secret ability to shape shift in animals and if she disrupts nature to much she will die )
