Nightmare and Shade both smiled as the looked at each other and fist bumped.Nightmare whispered something to Shade as he nodded.Shade picked up his guitar and started to play a birthday song with a few beat of the drums from Nightmare.

Angela smiled sweetly staring at them both. Angela mouthed the words thank you so she wouldn't be able to interpret their playing. Chris cut Angela a large piece of cake and placed it on a plate. He put a note on the edge of the plate and a fork on top of it. Chris smiled and gave Angela the plate. She smiled and nodded as if saying thanks.

Angela looked at the note and placed it aside. She began eating the cake with pleasure. Once she had swallowed down a piece of cake she smiled happily. "Thank you, Nightmare and Shade you two are something special, very different from regular people" Angela said as a shadow turned on the TV. "Now, let's watch something fun, like a horror movie" Angela added with a bright smile.

"I feel loved" Nightmare said as she smiled brightly.
Shade nodded and smiled. -
After a few moments Angela, Chris and Lucas were sitting side by side watching Insidious. Angela smiled as she ate her cake. Chris put an arm around Angela resting it on the edge of the site making she Angela doesn't notice. He blushed lightly as he smiled. Lucas repeatedly glanced at Angela and Chris with a bit of jealousy.

Nightmare and Shade were watching the movie as the smiled happily.Nightmare softly sung "Time of dying".
Shade smiled more to hearing Nightmare sing. -
Angela smiled with happiness as the movie came to an end. "Thank you guys for a good birthday" Angela said in a soft tone. "It's not over yet! We also got you a present" Chris said standing. He then began walking towards the staircase and Lucas followed behind him. They soon disappeared upstairs.

Angela smiled and watched the two leave. "Take care" Angela said with a brief sigh. She looked back down at her feet and yawned. "Well, we're back and I should head on home" Chris said as he respectfully gave Angela her present. "Thank you" Angela said with a smile. Lucas stayed and smiled but Angela looked at him with confusion. "Shouldn't you head on home?" Angela asked confused on why he's staying. "I live here too, remember?" Lucas said as he watched Chris leave. "Oh yeah" Angela said with another sigh.

Nightmare walked down the road before seeing a car heading towards ShadrmShe then pushed Shade out of the way as she got hit.Shade's eyes widened as tears went down his face."Night!!" He yelled as he held Nightmare's body close to him as he cryed.

Angela sighed and dropped the present. She began walking out the door towards the scene. Angela sighed once more and placed both hands into her pockets. She soon approached Nightmare and Shade. "Calm down, Shade, she'll be fine soon" Angela said as a mask of shadow covered Nightmare's face. The mask spread all over Nightmare's body. Soon after a brief moment the shadow disappeared. Angela's right eye was sealed shut and bleeding, her left leg was completely broken also her left arm. Angela stood and sighed briefly as she limped away.

Shade took Nightmare home.

Angela looked at Shade and Nightmare. She sighed and quickly limped off.
