So not it.

Drey flicked a piece of food off of his plate, a sigh escaping his lips. His cat dived at it, its tail flicking back and forth as it sniffed it. He looked up at his mirror, staring at his reflection. He couldn't see what was wrong with him, why he couldn't get the princess to pay attention to him. He was.. Beautiful.
-
Danielle wasn't having a very...interesting evening. Well she thought it would be, according to her father, but no. It was another suiter. She hated it, why couldn't she chose for herself? After a few minutes she commented coldly to the boy she wasn't interested and disappeared into the shadows. She heard that the boy went back, but she wasn't sure. She huffed lightly and ran her finger through her hair slowly.
-
Drey looked at his earring in his reflection, spinning it around in his ear. He hadn't tried to get Danielle to pay attention to him for ages, and how that he had, it seemed like she honestly didn't want to see his face. He pouted at himself, glaring. Maybe it was his pink hair that bothered her, or the fact that he loved fire magic.
-
She glanced down at the book she was skimming through and concentrated. A black ball formed in her hand and tried to form something out of it, but beinginterrupted by a loud knock on her door caused her to break concentration. She frowned and glanced at the door. "What?" Her father's muffled voice came from the other side and she sighed. "Come in." And he did, lecturing her about being rude to the princes and how she needs to get married. She huffed and listened, already bored.
-
Bump because I have enough battery life to do so.)
-
As the pink haired boy continued to think about the many things that was wrong with him, a servant came up to his door. Her hair was in curls, and she looked to be slightly bored. In a voice coated in honey, she said, "Would you like me to send the usual afternoon rose to her, my prince?"
Drey smiled, nodding. "Yes, please. This time, send a letter along with it. That I apologize for having disturbed her. Oh, and maybe add some chocolate with it.. Or those cookies I made. If that won't be too much for you."
"It will not be, Prince.. I shall go make preparations." She left as quickly as she came, leaving him alone once more. -
After her father had left the room she went back to her books and book case, trying to find the book she needed. They rarely had books that she hadn't already read. of course she knew that any of the people that had admired her and wanted her hand always sent something, in which she would dump them out the window. She didn't need distractions.
-
Drey looked at the window, staring longingly at the town that surrounded it. He was told by many that he was beautiful, and kind, but the one he wanted to tell him that was too busy ignoring him. He wanted her love, as badly as he wanted to be the best prince- and then king- that he could be. He looked to his hands, sighing. Nothing would work, though, and he felt it deep within him. The princess was too stubborn for that.
-
She sighed and glanced out the window, she needed a distraction or something. Her closest friend was a princess in another kingdom and it would take days to get a reply. She thought back the the prince who wouldn't leave her alone, but shook her head. She couldn't stand him, so why was she thinking about him. She shrugged and knew he would send a gift or something soon. She wasn't hoping for a rose again, she hated that flower with a passion.
-
Drey finally rested his elbows on the little ledge, trying to spy people. Usually, there were evening walkers, but today it seemed like everyone was hiding within their homes. He stared at the nearly empty town, sighing again. Pulling away from the window, he looked to his bed. It looked comfortable. With a grunt, he flopped onto it, closing his eyes. Another day of hoping she'd notice him, another day of getting rejected. Ah, how his heart yearned for her love that she would not give..
-
Danielle stayed awake the whole night, trying to work on her magic and trying to manipulate the darkness. This was really all she could do, not many people could control darkness, so not many people wrote books on it. She sighed in frustration when the sun came up. "Goddamn it!" She tossed the book at the wall out of anger.
-
Drey had fallen asleep while thinking about how depressed he was that he could not think of a way to get Danielle's hand in marriage. Several times, the thought of things that he could do. He liked the idea of sending her something other than roses, but he didn't know what she would like. He liked the idea of going to see her himself, but she always yelled at him to go (he bothered her almost every week). He didn't know what else he could do.
-
Danielle soon got dressed in a comfortable black dress, grumbling about her corset as she walked to the dining area and saw her father eating in silent. It would be another argument of her not wanting to marry.
-
Upon awaking, Drey rolled out of bed (literally) and laid on the floor. He didn't want to deal with himself, or with the world. He wanted everything to be perfect. And so he'd try again.. Later. The pink haired boy fell asleep, much to the discomfort of the maids that came in and almost tripped over him while he was on the floor.
