"I wonder where lily is."
-
Jinx looked at him and tears formed in her eyes.
-
"Whats wrong jinx and this time please answer instead of saying nothing."
-
JInx looked at him. "S-s-she is out there." She pointed ouside.
-
Robin awoke with a start. A sudden explosion of noise had broken her out of her slumber and she shot upwards in her seat. She...she'd fallen asleep? No, that didn't seem right. This was her big night, how could she have fallen asleep?
In front of her, the band played. They were already in the third act. Robin scanned the stage for Loreta, a weight building in her chest as she didn't find her. Confusion was her first reaction. It was the third act, where was she? Loreta was supposed to appear in the second, and remain for the rest. Where was she?
Robin fumbled against the strap gluing her goggles to her head. She needed a clearer view, she needed to see with her own eyes. Robin gave up a second later. Loreta...wasn't here. This entire night was for nothing.
A wet dripping on her arm pulled her attention to the wound on her side, and suddenly everything made sense. Standing up, Robin searched through the crowd, stopping when she found who she was looking for. -
JInx looked at Xantos with tears in her eyes. 'I didn't mean to leave her." she babbled on.
-
(Hey Xantos, can I use the owner of the asylum for a second? I'll let you borrow Loreta if you want. k thx)
Robin found him, just sitting around like a regular person. It's been said that man is more often evil through weakness than calculation, but such a description was clearly wrong when confronted with the owner of the asylum.
He was the kind of man who was just too stretched for his weight, giving his face a hawk like appearance. His hair was styled upwards at two points, giving the impression that he had horns and his beard was finely trimmed to a curl at the bottom of his chin. He was wearing a plain brown suit, but with one of the sleeves removed to showcase a pale skeletal hand.
And he just looked at Robin like a regular person, and said, "Hello, Robin. You are aware it's against the rules to leave the ground, correct? Of course, it is a spectacular show. It's a shame you missed it."
"What are you doing here?" Robin asked.
"Can a man not enjoy a show he paid for, with his own sweat? Is that not allowed outside the asylum? No no, a better question, perhaps, is what are you doing here? After all, I thought someone like you would have heard that a certain double bass player had suddenly come down with a case of the flu before the show, and had to withdraw."
Robin was speechless. "You did this!" -
(You can be my Father if you want to, I don't care. XD)
(Ps: we are all dead XD)
"Jinx you go get Lily, I'll get Robin we have to leave." -
Jinx felt regret and sadness and went to find Robin.
-
"Ok than. I'll get lily."
Xantos ran towards Lily. -
(Were dead O.o)
JInx walked to Robin and saw Xantos father. "YOu." she spat. -
"Lily we have to find Robin and get off here fast because if my vision is true he is here."
-
JInx looked at the man and shivered.
-
Xantos saw his father in the distance.
"The first rule of the asylum... The director has eyes everywhere." -
"Did what? What do you think I've done?" The owner asked, throwing his hands up to his shoulders.
For a second, Robin paused, before her angry overpowered her reason and she blurted out the first thing that came to her head, "You drugged me!"
"As is my job as a psychiatrist. Do you not want to get better?"
Robin paused again, but wasn't ready to relent. "You drugged Loreta!"
"Baseless paranoia. Her sickness is a coincidence. It could have happened to anyone." He replied, straightening his only sleeve.
"This...this day meant a lot to me, you knew that. You did this on purpose." Robin said, taking a step back. Try as she might, the owner had the sense of a cat that was only playing with its food until it got bored and decided to move on with its life.
"Believe it or not, Robin, but I do have a life outside the asylum. I certainly don't follow its patients around hoping they break the rules. I came here to enjoy the Academy's monthly show, as I have every second month. But now," He said, standing up and extending an arm to Robin, "I feel we had best go home. After all, without Loreta, I doubt there's much reason for you to stay."
Robin slowly raised her hand into his, before a loud shout caused her to recoil back. Jinx appeared behind her, an accusing finger already pointing at Xantos' father.
He just smiled. "Jinx. Now this is surprising."
