"Oh," Ragiro hummed, thinking of it. If this kind chef considered himself a sort of friend of the angel, and didn't seem to hold any distaste for him, then surely he must have a nice side for people he likes. "That's good. And you like working here?" -

"It's very good, aye," Andrew hummed, smiling a bit. "I do. Sometimes it's not the best when the master gets mad, but he's.. Been trying to be better. He means well. And I've never been allowed to cook so many times a day before. Here, everything is perfect. Good pay. Nice home. Best people show up. Just like you, mister. I'm sure you'll like it here." -

Starting to feel a little more comfortable, Ragiro leaned against the counter, watching Andrew cook. He, for the millionth time that day, had to tuck both sides of his hair behind his ears. "He seems really kind, for the most part. I've never met an angel quite like him." -

Him with a peg leg screaming "ARRRRRR LAND AHOY"
Andrew looked up, slightly surprised. "Really now? I knew he was nice, but to be nicer than any other angel you've met, that's.. Interesting. Then again, I've never worked for another angel before, so I can't say I'd know any mean ones." He was already nearly done, but it was such an easy order for the man.
"That's because the mean ones are dying out," A voice from the entrance said. Jael was leaning against the door, an amused look on his face. "Maybe I killed them." -

"LAND AHOY..... Oh sorry shore did we hit you eh sorry eh"
Ragiro was just about to reply with Andrew, and was starting off with a shrug, when he heard the other voice from the doorway. He jolted to stand upright, and looked to where Jael was leaning. The human shyly rubbed his own arm, feeling embarrassed for having been caught talking behind Jael's back. "Sorry, Jael, for running off and chatting. I was curious." -

Jael laughed, watching the human rub his arm. Though he wasn't that different from Ragiro, he had always thought that humans did odd actions when they were scared, embarrassed, or upset. "It's quite fine. I assumed that the girls would go against my wishes and drag you back here. At least you're getting your food quicker and you didn't wait so long. You must be hungry, hm?" Pushing himself from the doorway, he walked over, looking at what Andrew was transferring from a pan to a beautifully decorated plate. "..You could ask for anything, anything at all, and you asked for a grilled cheese? Huh. Interesting.." -

Ragiro wasn't entirely sure why he'd chosen a grilled cheese over many other things that he could have chosen. He supposed it could be at least partly because he'd feel awkward asking someone he'd just met to make him a fancy meal. Mostly, though, he supposed- "I like the cheese." -

Jael laughed, moving to lean his arms against the counter. "You can use the same cheese in everything.. But I understand where you're coming from. In fact, my favorite dish is.." The angel paused, looking up at Andrew. The chef smiled, catching on Jael's unsaid request. "Mac and cheese." -

While Jael spoke, Ragiro eyed the plate that held his grilled cheese. It was rather near to him on the counter, and he thought about reaching for it, with fingers tapping against his thighs. "Mac and cheese is good, I like it too." -

"Do you? That's great. I'm glad to know you share one of my many food interests." The angel walked over, sitting at one of the tall counter chairs. "Eat up, Ragiro. I can see how anticipated you are. I can wait. Actually, Andrew.."
"On it, boss." The chef disappeared deeper into the kitchen, going to prepare whatever it was that Jael wanted. Jael looked over at Ragiro, humming. "So, how are you enjoying the ten.. Twenty minutes you've been here so far?" -
