I think I was that tall when I was 13 bby I'm 5'2" im 18 this is bad
While he was scanning over the few angels, Ragiro's eyes settled on one with smooth, tan skin and a sweater. He couldn't decide if this one would be kind or not, but by the repeated head to toe looks he was giving, Giro figured he was interested. The bidding started at the same price for all of the other humans, at nine thousand, but Ragiro wrinkled his nose when his price was announced to start at fifteen thousand. He hardly felt he was worth that much, but if it got the price decided sooner, so be it. Before the bidding started, the announcer had to give his information. As if the angels were blind.
"Blue eyes. Medium build. Brunette. Pretty short, isn't he?" The angel who was introducing chuckled, making Ragiro have to hold in his grimace. Be polite, he figured, and they might treat you well. -
I DON'T EAT HEALTHY THOUGH
Jael squirmed in distaste as the angel described what was already obvious. He just wanted to crush the angels there, run the fact that he was rich enough to buy and toss so many toys like that. He stared at the human, shocked that he didn't say a word about the announcer's teasing. Most humans showed some kind of distaste. There had even been one that tried to choke the announcer. He bought that one, of course, but it hadn't been the best toy he'd owned. He wondered if the human was just hiding his feelings. It was likely, but unexpected. Perhaps he was more reserved than most. Impatiently, he started to play with his sweater collar, staring intently at the human. His interest had spiked. He wanted that human. -
YOU SHOULD OR YOULL END UP SHORT LIKE ME
The next time Ragiro looked at the angel, he could see it in his eyes that he was determined to have him. It was nerve-wracking, because now he was sure that the angel would be the bad sort, who would treat him poorly and then get rid of him again. He narrowed his eyes at the angel, tilting his head just slightly like a dare to bid. The first one to call out, though, was a portly tall one closer to the stage.
"I raise it five," the angel said, flashing Ragiro a grin.
The announcer went right along with it; "That's twenty thousand. Thirty thousand, anyone?" -
Help me drown my sorrows in soap
-
I ALREADY AM SHORT
Jael caught the look; The narrowed eyes, the slightest head tilt. Is that a dare, human? I'll take it with pride. The white haired angel smirked, crossing his arms. "Aye, over here," He jut out his chin. "I'll do you one better and raise it ten," He called out. He wasn't going to lose, that human was his. His cat-like green eyes shimmered in the light. Forty thousand, fifty thousand, money didn't matter. -
BUT YOU STILL HAVE TIME
The man who'd bid first grunted, loud enough that Ragiro could hear it. He seemed to have given up then, because he crossed his arms and glared at the ground. Everyone in the room shifted, and it was quiet for a few moments until the announcer broke the silence; "Are we done here?"
It seemed no one else was willing to bid again, after they'd seen the other angel be in such a hurry to end it quickly.
"Finished," the announcer grinned, and pulled a key out of his pocket. Ragiro held out his hands, cupped, and the angel dropped it in them. It wasn't any use, though, at the moment. His hands were cuffed too closely together and he wouldn't be able to reach the lock with the key himself. -

when dark doesn't know what you would do at a human bid..
what does Jael do now just go take him and pay or waaaaat /sighs deeply -
mia's never been to a human bid either
Sure that sounds right -
maybe we wouldn't want to be at one
and no I have no time I am a teenager no growing for me
Jael smirked in satisfaction, proud of himself for having won. It was one of the higher prices, but he'd paid more for s---ty toys. He walked up to the announcer, hoisting himself up onto the stage. With a skilled hand, he brought out his wallet and produced forty thousand dollars. He was now quite eager to learn more about his new human; He looked cute with those handcuffs on. -
i think that might be true
its never too late to wear heels
The announcer grinned with enthusiasm when the money was produced, taking it from the angel with a tad too much eagerness. "The boy's got the keys to the cuffs. He can't reach the lock like that, so it's up to you if he gets them off. They always look better with them on, though huh?"
Ragiro huffed- it seemed natural that all announcers were rude. While the man counted the money and then tucked it in his pocket, the human shuffled closer to the angel who'd bid for him. The cuffs were chaffing against his skin, and he wanted them off, so he held the key out in his cupped hands toward the angel. -
I'm pretty sure we could get in big trouble :c
eww
Jael snorted, shrugging. "Depends. It works for the shy ones, seeing them squirm around uncomfortably and look at you with their big round eyes. But those that just don't like them-- I prefer taking them off."
He glanced at Ragiro, a small smile flickering onto his face. He put his hand on his back, turning to the announcer for the last time. "Bye," he said politely before leading the human off the stage. As he walked them towards the entrance, he took the key from the boy's still outstretched hands and held it. "Wait until we get outside, okay? Wouldn't want someone thinking you ran off or anything.. How long have you had those on, anyways? Those are the most uncomfortable looking ones I've seen all day." -
it might be best to avoid such situations .3.
i wear them alot actually for class
Ragiro stiffened slightly when the hand came up to lead him forward from behind, but he obediantly followed the angel's lead to leave. When the key was taken from him, and the angel asked him a question, he contemplated actually answering. Some angels preferred for their humans to never speak to them out of 'respect' (of course, it was only fear), while other angels treated them with a bit more dignity.
He answered, finally. "All day," he said. At first, in the morning, they hadn't been so bad, but as the day progressed on every time he moved he feared that the metal would break skin. Even then, as he was walking and had his arms down limply, he held his wrists a few inches away from his legs to keep them from hitting the cuffs and scratching him. -
yes I think so
really? aren't they super uncomfortable?
"Really? I'm sorry about that.. Some of these people are just too cheap to get things that won't hurt you. I'd hope that they'd attempt to use their money for better cuffs for future slaves. To be that stupid, getting cheap metal that tears at the flesh.. I'm glad that I got to you. That other a--hole might have done worse." Or he might have been nicer.
Jael opened the doors to the back entrance, gently pushing Ragiro outside. Once he had closed the door, he moved in front of him, kneeling. "By the way, my name is Jael. Don't forget it, because then you'll have to say master in replace of my name. I doubt you'd enjoy that." He slipped the key into the lock, fumbling around with it. It was true; they were crap quality. He grunted as he finally got the lock to open. The angel slipped the cuffs off of the human's wrists, tossing them aside. He didn't want to keep them, not when they marked up his human's beautiful skin. "What name are you comfortable with? Remember, you can change it if you'd like. For a fresh start or whatever. I don't need to know your real name." -
im kind of about to fall asleep but i saw that you replied to this a while ago oo so sorry if crappy short post follows
not really because i wear them a lot and im really used to them.
As the cuffs were slipped off, Ragiro dared not do the classic rubbing-my-wrists-to-make-it-feel-better move. It was total crap, all it did was annoy the skin more. On the inside kunckles of both wrists were the most damaged, with red and slightly swollen lines formed on the skin. Luckily, he hadn't drawn blood yet, so he was at least comfortable with folding his hands together against his legs.
Jael, actually, seemed rather kind. At least from what he could see, and unless the angel acted differently when he was at home, he had hope that he'd have a decent sort of stay. And, because he was okay with the angel at that point, he went right ahead and gave his actual name. "Ragiro," he answered, without any nicknames, middle or last names.
