Midnight coughed up some blood and opened her eyes halfway.

Lightning looked at her "thank the stars, your not dead yet"

Gator came to where Lightning and Midnight were. He used his sonic roar blew away the remaining robots.

Midnight chuckled "this wolf doesn't die easily.."

Lightning looked up at him "where where you" she said coldly

Gator said "I was captured and given a new deal by Kopaka."

Lightning crossed her arms "and?"

Midnight coughs again trying not to close her eyes.

"He said if I helped him with the Mutant Gel, we can go home and he would reunite me with my parents and my human." said Gator.

Lightning closed her eyes and turned away "good for you"

Midnight stood up as blood poured out of her wound and leaned on the wall for Support.

Gator said "I turned him down, you know."

Lightning opened one eye and looked at him "why"

Gator said "Because I learned from my master. It doesn't matter what happens, never give up the fight. And place your bets on the one you think is right."

Lightning nodded "my sister once told me something similar 'though the night is dark, dont fall to the darkness, look instead to the stars' "
