Vincent opened his eyes and looked at her

"Stupid girl, stupid Ace." She muttered.

"Do you want me to heal that?"

She nodded and let her fingers go.

Vincent quickly cast a healing spell

"Thanks." She mumbled and rubbed what was now a scar. The dull grey building was coming into view.

Vincent smiled. He frowned slightly at an odd sound and then he felt something heavy his him and wrap around his wings

Anna swooped down to the ground. When she looked behind herself, Vincent wasn't there. "Vincent?"

Vincent crashed to the ground painfully and her felt whatever was on him tightening its grip

She went on her tippy toes and scanned the area. In the distance was a figure on the ground, behind a mostly dead bush. She ran toward that direction. -
