(poor Jenny and Clarke what about the kids)
Bray fixed the damage, spun on his heel, and hurried into his room to grab his backpack. He stopped, though, when he saw what time it was. School actually started in five or so minutes, and thus, none of his friends- Well, people he talked to- would be willing to come get him. He sighed, and sank down onto his bed. It wasn't like he had missed a lot of school so far this year. What would one day hurt, really? -
The best way to get User's attention was to start humming quietly, which it did now. Why was User back?

The teenage boy's attention was in fact caught by his laptop, though less because he noticed the noise. With one hand, he picked it up, and settled it into his lap, moving the mouse to wake it up. Facebook was still open, and Bray took a moment to scan his eyes over it for a moment. Jenny and Clarke broke up- No surprise there, he thought. Advertisements for watches. A new message from his mom, telling him her and his father would be gone until late.
Whatever. He sat the laptop down, stood, and headed off to go find where he had stashed his p--- magazines. Might as well take care of that while he was alone. -
The computer was insulted. Magazines were the same every time. It offered so much more than those magazines, even if what User wanted was... explicit.

After a while, the boy returned, buttoning his pants as he walked into the room. -
It whirred with excitement. User had left an empty search page open. It could search for anything it wanted, now.

He grabbed his book bag, deciding to workon some unfinished homework.

It explored, going places User had never gone. If only it could do more for User than just exist for his entertainment. Not that it disliked entertaining him, but he always seemed so empty afterward.
