Pausing, the boy inhaled deeply. The festival was about to begin. He glanced out into the courtyard, where the people where already celebrating.
And soon it would be his turn to join them.
The boy's name was Zara. He was petite and short, which often caused people to mistake his age.
He was turning eighteen today. That's what the festival was for. His father had asked him what he wanted most today. He had answered very simply.
Now, as he walked with his guard to the square, he hoped it would come true. -
The last place Tenris had planned on being was the festival. He'd already insisted that he stay behind and help his sister with the chores. But she'd insisted he come to the festival, and bring her back something sweet.
So here he was, wading through the crowd, trying to get to a less crowded area. Maybe his sister enjoyed the large population of the city, but he'd much rather be back out on the farm, riding his horse. -
Zara was greeted by the crowd. He smiled and accepted the congrats and kind words. He even got an occasional hug, which his guard, Ashna, didn't seem to like.
After the people calm down, he darted off into the street, laughing, imagining Ashna's shocked face.
"Milord!" The Sheikah called, attempting to chase after him. Her attempts were quickly stifled by the sea of Hylians. -
