"Hii Red!!" Goldi giggled and winked goofily. Realizing Red may want to rest a bit, Goldi smiled and stood for a while as she swayed. Soon, she sat on the floor and began to draw on a napkinl. Humming as she did this, a giggle escaped her mouth every now and then.
-
Red frowned lightly and watched her draw. "What pills do they give you?" She knew that some of the patients got pills while others either went to see Crooked or Cricket, depending on how bad they were. The girl clearly was on something, this wasn't a normal energetic kind of thing.
-
"It was called...erm...something' funny. Like ecstasy or somethin'?" Goldi giggled and continued to draw, still humming.
-
She rolled her eyes. "Stop taking it. You won't be normal if you keep taking it Goldi." She frowned lightly. "Now get some sleep it's night time out, although I think it's gonna rain."
-
"Awe," Goldi pouted. "But the bed wants ta eat me!!" Goldilocks dragged herself off the ground and jumped onto her bed, sighing and curling up on her side.
-
Red glared at Goldi, a bit upset they fed her such a pill as she started to slowly drift off, only to hear the guards walk up to the doors. She sighed and got up, grumbling about not having any sleep. The guards dragged her off, she already hated she had to have an appointment at this hour.
-
Slowly, Goldi began to fall asleep. Her breathing began to slow and her heart too began to calm. However, she was pulled out of her slumber by the sound of the cell opening. Red must have an appointment, thought Goldi to herself as she waited for the sounds of footsteps to fade into the distance. Once she was sure they were gone, Goldilocks quietly sat up in her bed and pulled an object from underneath her pillow. It was a necklace, a simple chain with an amethyst hanging from it. Goldi held this tightly and thought of her aunt, and how she was ripped from her arms that day. It was sunny and warm, and everything looked perfect. However, it was also the day that people like her were pulled from their families to be put in this awful place. Wiping her tears from her face, Goldi still wondered why she was in here. What had she done?
-
Red walked down the series of corridors and halls until she and the guards ended up at Professor Cricket's office. Out of any of the people here Professor Cricket was the greatest, knowing not anyone there needed any aid. He was already fiddling with the machine as she walked in. He glanced at her and smiled, telling her he was ready as she walked to the center platform in the room. She lied flat on her back as she started to float slowly into the air she closed her eyes slowly, hearing him say something about remembering. A few minutes later screams were heard through the whole asylum.
Jack woke from his sleep with a jolt, hearing the screams from Crickets office. He blinked curiously, wondering who had an appointment with him. -
Goldi heard these screams and jumped. She bit her lip in fear, these noises always scared her. More tears came to the girl's eyes as she realized that Red was the one who had left. Goldi clutched her necklace to her chest tightly as she listened in utter horror.
-
Red woke up a few minutes after a small little blackout and saw Cricket with a worried expression on his face. It didn't work, well really it only worked once, just once when she first arrived. Her face fell as the guards came in and dragged her back to the cell, pushing her inside and making her snap back to conciousness. She frowned lightly, trying not to be phased by what had happened. It was just memories, thats all.
Jack caught a glimps of Red being dragged back and he shook his head. "Girl can scream..." He wondered how her roommate would react to her not having a scratch on her. -
Goldi pretended to be asleep as the guards returned Red to their cell. After they left, Goldi jumped down from her bed and softly whispered to her roommate, who seemed fine, "Are you okay?"
-
Red blinked and turned to glance at Goldi. "I'm fine. Don't worry about it." She was calm and collective, planning something was what she really was doing when her roommate asked her if she was fine. She really was.
-
Goldi frowned and and rubbed her eyes. "O-okay. Goodnight." She crawled back into bed, placing her necklace underneath her pillow once again.
-
Red sighed lightly and walked over to her bed, curling up without covering herself in the thin blanket. She almost stayed awake the whole night, but soon started to drift off into the darkness of sleep.
-
Soon, Goldi fell asleep. She dreamt of her aunt and the warm summer picnics they would go on. She dreamt of the house where three bears resided. She dreamt of the friendly neighbors and happy faces she never thought she would see again.
