"Sure." She said to both, before going to get some things. "I thought she was someone I knew, honest mistake, I suppose."

"It happenes all the time for me." She said. She then suddenly heard the name Evlyn Knight. That was her mother's name... Mckenzie found out that the news was on. And what theywere showing, horrified her. "Oh my god..." She muttered. Her mother and father had been in a car accident and had died. How did she not know this by now? "No... no no no..."

Jeff looked at Mckenzie, reading her expressions expertly. "Your parents..?" He asked, quietly.

She fought back the tears and nodded. She took a shaky breath.

Jeff looked at the t.v. "Were they good to you..?" He asked, gripping the knife in his pocket. -
She just shrugged. "I rarely ever spoke to them... They were so busy at work... and when they did come home, they would just ignore me..."

A tear rolled down her cheek, but she just wiped it away. "I'm such an idiot. I'm crying over the people who never cared for me." She said. -
Jeff turned to face her. "It's all right, you can cry for them. They are the only parents you will get, after all." His gaze lowered to the floor, and he clenched his hands into fists.
