Gaan snapped his fingers, getting an idea. He quickly motioned for Iroha to stoop so he could whisper it to her.
-
Iroha soon found the human in the tree, and glanced up at him. Unlike Gaan, she didn't ooze enthusiasm. She stood still, just watching, tail still, ears slightly back.
"Yo." -
(my replies will be slow)
Aeon groaned. He just wanted a break. "Do you want something too?" -
[It's fine.]
"'Too'? What in the world are you talking about, human?" She glared, then closed her eyes, sighing. It'd be all too easy to attack this human and leave him to die in front of her brethren. But Gaan had a plan, and she wanted her pay.
"Get down from that tree." She barked the order, not caring about being polite. -
"What do I mean? Heh. Why should I explain? I'm too lazy."
-
"Whatever. Now, get down from the tree." She repeated, getting a bit irritated.
-
"Why? I'm comfortable here." Aeon sighs and jumps down.
-
As soon as Aeon jumped down, and arrow sunk into the bark right where he'd been.
"That's why." Iroha growled. -
Aeon groaned. "Good reason."
-
"Mhm." Iroha replied, then began to walk off.
-
Aeon blinked. These are some very strange people. He'd have to get used to them. He'll be here for a while.
-
Iroha paused then, and sighed.
"Stay out of three trees and you'll be fine." She called, before vanishing into the trees herself. -
Aeon sighed. That wasn't particularly good advice. He was sure the ground was just as dangerous.
-
Iroha soon came upon Gaan. A figure in bright clothes with wild hair and pale eyes stood nearby, a bow in his hand with another arrow knocked.
"Don't actually hit him. Just startle him." Gaan warned the archer.
The archer didn't respond, and took aim again, firing the arrow close to Aeon. -
Aeon was yet again launched out of thought when an arrow pierced the air near him. He tried to determine where it came from. He guessed that the archer was fairly close but he could not pinpoint a location. If they were trying to startle him he would play their game.

"Careful!" Gaan hissed. The archer turned and glared at Gaan.
"Shut up before I turn you into a porcupine, rat." It glared, then turned and took aim again.
Gaan backed up a few paces at that. For a firefly, the archer was hostile.
