Walking down a street through the rain, Nepgear read a request from a small book. She used her arm to defend it from the rain. "We should start with this one. It's asking for help reducing the number of Dogoos around the food producing areas. It's a good pick for our first job in a while. Right, Neptune?" Nepgear turned to see Neptune staring at a store window.
"Whoa! Nep Jr., you didn't tell me the new game came out!" Neptune shouted. Then she paused as if remembering something. She turned and started walking back towards Nepgear. "Hahaha... I got distracted. It's not my fault th- Whoa! Nepgear look behind you! It's swirly like a smoothie in a blender!"
Nepgear frowned, confused. Then she turned to look. There was a circular thing that was swirling and it seemed to be pulling everything towards it. A portal? Then Neptune floated past her and into the swirling portal. "Neptune?!" Nepgear yelled before getting caught by the pulling force and pulling inside the portal. -
(It was supposed to be with a lot of people in the beginning, and yeah, any character.)

Link came to in an endless room, with no boundaries. It was all white, and it reminded him of Dark Link's fighting area. He looked around and saw other portals opening up. -
Luigi popped out of a portal and saw Link. Luigi called out "MARIOO!"

Nepgear tumbled out of the portal and into a white room. "Ow..." She murmured. What just happened? Looking around she saw two other people. She quickly stood up. Tumbling onto the ground like this was like when she went to the Ultradimension. The only difference was that she didn't land on Noire.
Looking around Nepgear noticed something else. Neptune wasn't here. -
(Screw it, I'll use regular ol' Steve.)
"Gotta love this daimond armor. And my sword!" Steve shouted as he killed the Enderman before him. "I need to get home before I run into a super charged creeper. I'm sure there's some around with all this lightning..." His voice drifted off as he watched an entire tree be sucked into something. "Uh, portal? Never seen one like this... That probably means new ores! And mobs to kill." He readied his sword and willingly leaped into the portal. -
(Sorry, just getting myself situated.)

quote suddenly flinches as dark clouds rolled into the horizon, thunder clashing upon the ground like the anger of zeus. the skies turned from a beautiful blue to a dark and eerie greyish black. quote turned to see a ripple in the air, slowly opening to what seemed to be a portal. quote readied his weapons without fear. if this portal was the gateway to new enemies, it was quotes job to eleminate them to protect the caves. and more importantly, the mimiga village. he gathered up his wits and walked into the portal, expressionless but feeling brave.
