That caught his attention. He looked up at the man curiously. "And that would be?..."
-
"Nathan is not stable. Besides the fact that he can do high school classes and actually cares about it. he just isn't in a good state of mind. He has a problem..." He checked to see that Nathan was still in the car before turning back.
-
He wasn't sure of how to respond to this. "Oh... I see..."
-
"Have you ever heard of dissociative personality disorder, or multiple personality disorder?" He tilted his head a bit.
-
He tried to recall it. "Yes, I believe I do.."
-
"Well, it's basically different personalities in one person. We know of five personalities so far. His normal self, Nathan. Oliver, the a--hole. Jacob, the horribly horrid one that only comes by once in a while. A little kid whose name we have yet to figure out. And oddly enough, a parrot. Some are aware of each other and Nathan himself, and the conversations go on in his head, which very much affects him.
Besides that, just, please don't hold a personality's actions against him. When he's himself, he's very sweet and has a really big a heart, and I know for a fact he doesn't show it, but he really does hate himself over this. All I'm asking is that you forgive him, but not the other personalities." He sighed, staring off a bit. -
His arms remained cross. His pupils shifted a bit considering his wordS. Austin sighed. "Alright.. I'll try."
-
Dustin gave a slight nod. "Thanks for your time and apologies for bothering you." He turned away, heading back to his car.
-
Austin closed the door right after. He went back upstairs and collapsed on his bed once again.
-
He entered the car, seeing that his son had curled up and fallen asleep in the seat. He drove smoothly, glancing over at him every so often.
-
"Everything is so complicated..." Austin muttered in to his pillow.
-
When he pulled into his driveway, he attempted to wake Nathan, who just would just not budge. "I'm not carrying you in, you're too heavy!" He complained, leaving the car. "You can stay in here." He marched up to his door. "Agh no he can't." He went back, opening the passenger door and trying to figure out how to get him inside.
-
He stayed there, but before going back to his current state he put his headphones back on.
-
His father managed to lift him and he held him close, shutting the car door with his foot. Surprisingly, Nathan was not as heavy as Dustin was expecting. It was mainly because of his height. He got to the door, struggling to open the door. After the man succeeded, he transported Nathan to his bedroom, pulling off his shoes and socks.
-
He just chilled for a while before falling asleep himself.

The next day he was walking to school. His ass felt better but he walked a little funny. Austin kept his Captain America headphones in and stuffed his hands in the pockets of his batman hoodie.
