(aww man)
Mallow was pacing the cabin floor with eagerness as he was told that he would be let out to hunt soon. He rarely got to hunt late into the afternoon, and he was told that he'd get to do it solo. It was a miracle for the wolf hybrid. A gift from the deceased wolf hybrids. He was growing a bit impatient from having to wait.
"Alright, Mallow, here's the rules. You can only kill three animals. After that, it's your choice on whether to bring it back here to eat or if you want to eat it while you're out there. I'll leave the back door unlocked for you. I have to go buy some food and I'll be back soon, alright?" Mallow's owner reached down to pet Mallow's ears. Mallow's tail wagged like a dog's, his face full of joy. As soon as the door was opened for him to leave, he was running out at full speed into the woods. -
(Boo sleepy Mia fell asleep)
Allistar was just helping Daisy put her crown on when he heard rushing footsteps. Everyone in the herd stopped what they were doing, ears perking up to listen. Allistar's older sister was the first to go sprinting off, and the littler fawns were quick to go after her.
Allistar hung back a moment longer than after his father and mother ran off, trying to gather up what the girls had made of their crowns. Then he followed after his family, sprinting away from the cabin. -
(Boo Darky woke up early)
Mallow's expression had changed once he smelled an animal not too far from where he was. He couldn't quite tell what it was- it smelled a bit like deer, but it wasn't deer at all. The new scent made him eager to catch whatever the new game was. He picked up his pace, the wind whistling through his ears.
After a bit of running, he caught sight of something moving. He pounces without hesitation. A rabbit was under his hands, and it looked like it was scared to death. He pucked it up, petting its head before breaking the rabbit's little neck. He hid it under some bushes before standing and trying to catch a wiff of the scent again. Unfortunately for him, he had lost it, and had gotten lost himself. Confused, the wolf hybrid turned in circles, sniffing for his own scent. When he caught wind of that, he followed it back to thr trail. He was now ready to trace that animal if it was the last thing he did. -
(Boo Mia had class .~.)
Allistar tried his best to follow them; but they'd gotten too far ahead of him in the seconds that he'd spent picking up the flowers, and now, he was jus as lost. He thought he heard rustling and footfalls, but that could just as well be a predator. As a last resort, he took cover, finding a bush with a hollower inside and crawled under it. His horns rattled up in the branches when he moved his head, so the hybrid was sure to keep it still while he tried to get a peek out from under the bush. -
(Waiit hng he's a deer they're antlers not horns .3.)
-
(Oh look Mia responded Hnngh Dark doesn't pay attention sowwy Dx)
Mallow crouched down, sniffing at the dirt and glaring at it. He could smell the same scent, but it was faint, so it was probably already gone. He did catch sight of some footprints, and so he decided to follow them. They lead towards a bush, but before they reached it, it stopped. Confused, he started to sniff around again, catching wind of the scent. He looked around the area and saw nothing. -
(Das okay xD)
Allistar first caught sight of the creature's feet; they looked just like his, so it must not be a coyote or wolf. But the tail said otherwise, as it looked just like one from a wolf. Allistar crinkled his nose in confusion, until the creature bent over to sniff the ground. It had ears like a wolf, too, and was sniffing the ground just like a predator. Upon this, Allistar decided it was dangerous, and with it sniffing around he needed to run away. In one fast movement, he slid out from under the bush, jumped into a standing posiion, and bolted off in the direction he'd come from. -
Just as he was about to give up, he caught a stronger scent that was fresh. He was also startled to hear the animal a few feet away. He only caught sight of it when it started to run away. He scampered after it, trying to figure out how we was going to get it down. It wasn't hard to get right behind it, but it was fast, and it would be a now or never chance to knock the fast thing over. Slowing down so he could speed up and take off, he let out a furious growl before running full speed at the creature and jumping in an effort to pounce onto it.
-
Allistar knew he was being chased after, and was desperately jumping over bushes and logs in an attempt to get away. He heard the low growl, and just like a real wolf, he knew that meant it was going to try and jump him. It was too late to dodge it, so Allistar spun around, moving to defend himself by pointing his antlers up towards the wolf.
-
Mallow hadn't realize that his prey would be so smart. He quickly held out his hands, grabbing onto the antlers. One pierced through his left hand, but he didn't care. He kicked his feet at the animal, his tail bobbing with the awkward motion. He tried to make it fall down backwards. It was obvious he was having trouble knocking it down. Letting out another growl, he kicked at the deer-thing's face.
-
Allistar was equally surprised to find out that the predator wasn't entirely stupid. He would have expected it to just end up being impaled on his horns, but rather, it actually thought to control the damage. The deer bucked his head up and down to try and get the other to let go of him, ignoring the kicking until it was too late, and he was hit hard in the face. He stumbled for a moment, dazed.

(SPEAKING OF ANTLERS I HAVE ONE)
Taking a risk, Mallow pulled his hand off the antler, backing up a step before brutally talking the deer. He knew that if he didn't knock it down soon, he'd never be able to bring it home. It seemed to be fun to play with.. It'd make for a good friend. With this newer happier thought in mind, he made sure to push with all of his might. -
Allistar had no more defense mechnisms left. The wolf thing hit him full-on, and Allistar was sent reeling backwards, landing on his back. Realizing this would mean the end if he didn't fight back. His last fighting attempt was to kick his legs out, trying to hit the wolf as hard as he could.

(WAIT WHAT HAVE YOU GONE TO A DOCTOR YET.)
-
Mallow yelped at the kicks, but he refused to back down, no matter how badly he was being hurt. He squirmed, pinning the Deer's legs with his own. Triumphantly, he announced, "From this day forward, you're going to be my new friend! I'm gonna take you home and my owner will buy you foods that you like! You're mine now because I won the fight." The little wolf puffed out his chest, his ears perked up. "My name is Mallow! What's your name, and what are you?"
