"You're kidding, right?" she asked. She walked over, opened the door, and looked inside. "My dad's kidding, right? You didn't agree to take me anywhere, did you?"
-
Bentley glanced over at her. "Yes, I did, actually." Bentley wore a kind look over his face.
-
"Thanks for clarifying." She smiled at him, then shut the door. Agatha turned to her parents. "I barely know him."
-
Bentley flipped through the channels, settling on a documentary about Nirvana. "Mark, it would be nice not to be just solo. Like, a drummer and a bassist would be nice." Mark scoffed,
"Like a boy band?" -
"Get to know him then. We're not forcing you to go, but you should if you want to," her mom said.
"It's like I'm in some stupid romance story written by two bored teenage girls," she replied.
"We don't know how else to work in the plot," her father confessed. "Do you want to join him or not?"
Agatha sighed, nodded, and walked back into the hotel room. "I'll come, but don't be surprised if I change my mind eventually." -
i like the part about the stupid romance story because

"Not like a boy band! Just like a tight-knit group of friends! I just, I hate being alone so much, okay?" Mark pursed his lips.
"I will think about it, Superstar. Now watch your Nirvana." Bentley watched as Nirvana set up for Lithium. -
fourth wall break because I can't think
"Uh, Mark, Bentley, I guess I'll come with you guys. Even though I know nothing about you," she said, the last part directed toward the teen musician. -
xD it was fantastic
Mark let out a small laugh. "Fabulous, we cannot wait to have you stay!" Bentley agreed, turning the television on mute. "We can get to know each other, I don't mind talking." -
She smiled a bit. "Okay. What time do you plan on leaving? I need to pack." She'd completely forgotten about the fans outside, and the fact that this would be a dream come true for some of them.
-
Bentley waited for Mark to answer, he was the one who controlled the time schedule. After a bit, Mark let an 'OH!' escape from his lips. "We leave in two and a half hours, sweetheart."
-
"Okay. I'll be back in a bit, then." She shut the door and turned to her parents. "Can you give me a ride? I need to pack."
-
"Alrighty." Mark took a swig of Pepsi, leaning the chair back against the wall. "Bentley, over here, kid." Bentley did as told.
"Some girl is letting out a load of amazing comments about what you did. It's changing everyone's side to the side where you are good." Bentley sighed in relief. -
The trio went down the elevator and left through the back door, glad to avoid the insanity in front. Driving home would take fifteen or twenty minutes, so she'd have enough time.
-
"What are some things that she is saying?" the boy asked, leaning in. Mark began listing things off,
"He doesn't deserve the negative attention. He just made some of those girls' lives. He is a good guy, and you are all hearing giving him s---." Bentley put a hand on his chest. He went back to Nirvana, who was now setting up for Smells Like Teen Spirit. -
When they reached home, it didn't take long for Agatha to pack. She was entirely sure what she needed, but she tried to stick with casual, and then threw in a few things to make her outfit a little more formal if needed. She packed her laptop and the necessary toiletries. As a last thought, she folded up a quilt she'd made a few years back with her aunt, knowing that she needed it for traveling.
