(angry mommy alert)
Hunter woke up as soon as the sun reached his eyes through the window in Damian's room. The blonde groaned at the light, moving his arm to shield his face from the harsh light. He was about ready to fall asleep again when he heard a 'buzzzzzzzzzzzz' coming from the floor. He recognized it as his own phone's ringing. He went to move to retrieve it when he found that there was a beautiful raven-haired boy on his arm. And on half of his chest. Very content but confused, he laid there wondering why Damian was in bed with him before he remembered that he had decided to spend the night here and ditch school with him. A faint smile played on his lips as he stroked the other boy's hair. He was so cute when he was asleep.. The phone made more noises. This time, it was several short buzzes. It sounded like someone was texting him, but who? It was then that it hit the blonde. He hadn't contacted his mother. "Crap," he muttered under his breath. He prodded the other boy, a frown on his face. "Damian, baby, wake up."
Lucifer twitched in his sleep, his eyes slowly blinking open. Just like yesterday, he was wired on school time. This time, however, he felt comfortable. He wasn't ready to start walking around. And, this time, he didn't feel sick. He felt warm. He felt loved. The redhead looked around the room a bit, noticing how it wasn't as bright in here as it was in his own room in the morning. He liked how dark it was. His eyes finally fell on his older brother, who was lying across from him. He let out a soft giggle, gazing at him. His brother, his lover, was in the same bed as him.. Not because Lucifer was scared, as what he had done as a small child, but because they had made love and fallen asleep together. He beamed at the memory of it all. Even though it took a bunch of a--holes to figure it out, he knew he loved Phoenix a lot and was glad that he had gotten the point across. -
(Super chill mommy to the rescue xD)
Damian was completely content where he was, not sure if he'd ever wake up with how comfortable he was lying in his lover's embrace. He couldn't hear the phone ringing in his dreams, so he would've completely undisturbed if it hadn't been for Hunter's voice. The raven groaned and stirred, slowly opening his eyes to the light and his lover that he still rested upon. After a few moments to wake up, Damian smiled lovingly at the blonde and rubbed a hand over his chest slowly. "Good morning, love." He was curious to know why his boyfriend was up so early, but once he saw the frown on his face, and the urgency behind, it caused the other to mimick the face. "What's wrong..? Didn't you want to skip school with me today?"
Phoenix was fast asleep, unaware of what time it was seeing as he was so at ease that he slept through the night and then some. His dimmed room didn't make it any easier to tell time either, but when he felt movement beside him, his eyes opened only a sliver, only half awake as he looked at the figure in front of him. But the older could hardly awaken, groaning softly as he let his half open eyes shut again. He knew Lucifer had school that day, so he made sure to have enough energy to shift, so his baby brother could get up when he was ready to get moving. The older on the other hand, wanted nothing more than to catch up on his sleep at the moment and knew he'd miss Lucifer's warmth after he moved. -
(Hunter is gonna get it when he gets home ooooooh)
Hunter muttered a quick "Morning, Dami," before gesturing to his phone. He rubbed his eyes, sighing deeply. "I did. But you know what I didn't do yesterday? Call my Mom.. She probably thinks I got kidnapped and died or something." He rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand, looking at him. "Should we just ignore it?" That idea was something Hunter would love to do, seeing as how he didn't want their day to be disturbed. He was ready for a lazy, fun day, not a day full of dealing with his mother's s---. He couldn't just pick up the phone, though, and talk to her. She'd flip her s--- just knowing he was at Damian's place- he knew very well her hatred for the boy. While he didn't know exactly why, he knew that she thought of his beloved as a nuisance. The cause of Hunter's "different" behavior. But he saw nothing wrong with Damian, which is why he didn't feel like clarifying anything with the woman. At least, not until he and Damian could have a fun day.
Lucifer held back more giggles as he stretched his body out like a cat. His muscles ached a bit, but that was expected. He slipped out of the bed, carefully moving out of the room. He was still a bit sleepy, but it was nothing to worry about. He wanted to get to school and get it done as fast as possible. While he couldn't fly through classes as he wished, he knew he'd get to see Phoenix after school. He walked into his room, getting fresh clothing before grabbing his bag and shuffling into the kitchen. As he turned on the light, he glanced at the clock. He had a good 30 minutes to eat before he had to get out the door. Yawning a bit, he grabbed his breakfast and ate with a pleased expression. Everything seemed to be better now. -
(The poor bby ;u; )
"Well, f--- her. My mom will take care of it if you want. I don't know if you noticed, but even if your mom hates me, she tries to act nice when it comes to mine. Think she's scared of rebels like us?" Damian giggled softly, giving Hunter a loving kiss then sorely sitting up and stretching his muscles. His mother had openly told him that they were exactly the same in every way, and she wouldn't want him to be different. All she asked was that he at least avoid drugs and keep up with his school work, even when he skipped. She never let him miss too many days either. The raven was more than confident that his mother could take care of talking to Hunter's. "Come on. Let's get dressed and see if she's awake yet. She knows how to talk."
Phoenix remained in bed for another twenty minutes before he finally completely awoke and pulled himself up to get dressed. Yawning and rubbing his eyes, the older sibling trudged out of his bedroom in a t-shirt and sweat pants. The first thing he saw was his baby brother getting ready for school. A smile spread over his face as he snuck up behind Lucifer to give him a hug. "Good morning, lovely. Will you be able to make it to school or do you need a ride?" -
(It'll be okay, Damian always makes him happy when his mother gets angry.)
"Heh, yeah.." Hunter laughed before he responded. "Will she? That would be lovely.. And no, more like she doesn't like your mother. Probably because she does a hella better job raising kids like us than she ever will." He flashed a grin, and the grin was covered by Damian's sweet lips. Oh, god-- he would never get over the feeling of being kissed by Damian. No other kiss could compare. As Damian sat up, he found himself copying his movements, arching his back and cracking his fingers. Honestly, Hunter loved his mom. He just didn't enjoy what she did. She had always did everything wrong; Instead of letting him chose his friends, she concealed him and hid him from a lot of things. He was lucky enough to have Damian at his side. And, there was Colby, but she liked him. Not that he was any better than the two of them. As Damian spoke again, he looked over, nodding. "Sounds good to me." Hunter slipped out of the bed, waiting until he could stand up without wobbling to move further.
Lucifer had just sat his plate down when he felt a pair of warm arms wrap around him. He jumped a bit, startled, but smiled when he remembered that it was just Phoenix. He turned his head, giving the older a quick peck on the lips. "Hmm.. I have ten minutes before I really gotta run out the door, but a ride would be nice, especially if you're the driver." He moved around his brother, setting his empty plate and fork in the sink. He had eaten a lovely waffle and scarfed down a banana in the amount of time it had taken his brother to walk out of his room. "Though," a smirk played on his lips as he teased the other, "Do you think you're awake enough to drive?" -
(And then she forces Damian and Hunter to be apart. ;u; )
"You know my mom would always cover for us. Unless we commit a murder or something huge like that." The raven told him honestly as he found himself some fresh underwear and loose shorts. He loved sharing his affections with Hunter; He felt like they were perfect together. So he'd fight his hardest to make sure they stayed together. "My mom doesn't like yours either and would probably take pleasure in scaring her if she had the chance. But anyway, do you need clothes or will you just wear the ones from yesterday?" Damian asked, prepared to grab whatever his boyfriend needed. He could hear his mother shuffling around in the kitchen down the hall from his room. She was so noisy when she was tired.
Phoenix smiled at the loving peck to his lips and chuckled softly, raking a hand through his hair and adjusting his glasses. "Finish up with whatever you need to get done and I'll take you. I'll be awake so long as I keep moving, and I can get coffee on the way there." He didn't mind that the younger teased him about his tiredness, not at all. He loved Lucifer, and he knew that if he really couldn't drive, his brother wouldn't ask him to. Lucifer just cared about him that much, and the taboo lovers wouldn't ever want to lose each other. Especially to death. -
(And then chaos happens. :I
I've always wondered what Damian would do if the scene that I was going to use for my book project happened in the soap. What would Damian do if Hunter got stabbed by someone they had previously bullied? ovo)
"I know.. She's the mom I wish I had. That I might even try to steal from you." He laughed a bit, sighing after. He went to grab his phone, but stopped, and went instead for his pants. "I'm pretty sure she already does scare her. And yeah, can I steal a shirt from you?" Hunter grabbed his underwear after grabbing his pants, slipping the article of clothing on. A yawn escaped his lips as he lazily pulled his pants on. His shirt was still on the floor, along with his phone, that was sitting on top of the shirt. He had considered wearing the shirt, but Hunter didn't like wearing shirts more than once. He didn't know why, but just the idea of being in a shirt that he had worn for a day made him shiver in slight fear.
Lucifer giggled as Phoenix adjusted the glasses that were perched on his nose. "I just need to brush my teeth and put my binder in my bag. Give me a few minutes and then we can go." The younger skipped off to the bathroom, his eyes shining in happiness. He brushed his teeth for a full two minutes, combed his hair, and went to his room. While grabbing his binder, he set his stuffed penguin upright with a smile on his face. "Sweet little penguin~ I might not sleep with you often, but I love you." He winked at it while walking out of his room. He went to his bag, stuffing the binder into it and puffing out his chest. "All done, big brother. Let's get out of here so you can get coffee." -
(He'd cry hysterically then got bat s--- crazy with anger :>)
"One day you'll be able to call her mom. When you move out and everything in the near future." Damian smiled and found a larger shirt that would fit his boyfriend until they could take him to get a change of clothes later. "My mom was scarier at our age though. She's so chill now. Too chill sometimes. Here, baby." He handed the shirt to the blonde and looked down at the flashing phone. Hunter probably had so many missed messages from his mother about where he was. He also noticed the discarded shirt. The raven smiled, understanding exactly why Hunter hated to wear shirts twice in a row. They were sweaty and gross, simply put. "Let's move."
The older sibling nodded lightly when Lucifer told him what left he had to do and let him go do them. Meanwhile, Phoenix grabbed himself a hoodie and socks to put on. It was supposed to be cooler that day. He was finishing putting on his shoes when the younger emerged again, letting him know that he was ready. "All right, lovely. Let's go." Phoenix smiled as he grabbed his keys, heading for the door. -
(don't tell me he'd stab the person back because then the cops would be knocking at his door)
"That sounds very appealing, Damian." Hunter watched Damian move around with slight interest. He noticed how graceful he was, on purpose or not. "The thing is, that's what makes her so cool. To be scary at first then so chill with the same spark.. It's awesome. I admire your mom for that. Thank you," he added. He took the shirt gratefully, slipping it on. It was slightly smaller than what he normally wore, but it wasn't squeezing him too bad. It also smelled a bit like Damian, so he was content with it. When he had pulled the shirt over his head, he saw that Damian's eyes were on something on the ground. He glanced down and saw his phone. Sighing, he bent down and picked it up. There were still a few messages popping up on the little screen. Stuffing it into his pants pocket, he went over to Damian's side, wrapping his arms around Damian's. "Let's." He walked forward a bit, still clinging to Damian. He nuzzled his shoulder, a small grin on his face. "My darling boyfriend."
Lucifer bounded over to his side, his backpack bouncing with the motion. He gently pushed past Phoenix, opening the door for them both. Some of their neighbors were out and about, though not many people were. He waved to one of them, smiling brightly. He liked all of his neighbors, and he figured they all tolerated him. "Can I steal some of your coffee when you get it?" -
(Nah he'd just make them eat their teeth)
"Honestly, you could probably just start calling her now, you've known her for so long that she practically is a second mother to you." Damian giggled sweetly and guided his boyfriend out of the bedroom. He thought about what Hunter said and frowned, his happiness fading. "Yeah, she is great.." He wondered how his father could leave such an amazing woman alone with her baby boy. "I wish I knew my dad though. I wish he'd had more of a sense of responsibility and stayed, for me and my mom. If I were to ever meet him, I don't know what I'd do." The raven grit his teeth and tried to distract himself by looking up at the blonde. It worked miracles. The other's muscle stuck out more in the slightly too small shirt, making Damian blush. "You're so sexy, Hunty." His voice was hushed as he neared the kitchen, catching a glimpse at the back of his mother's head. Her hair was dark and messy, going every which way. She was eating something crunchy. "Morning, Mom." The smaller boy urged his boyfriend to ask her his favor of calling his mother.
The woman turned to look at them, a smiled planted on her lips. Her appearance was dark and disheveled, but despite that she was still bright as ever. "Good morning, babies. Did you sleep well?"
Phoenix smiled and let the younger pass, having not seen Lucifer so eager to go to school since before the older graduated. After that, the younger despised going to school. Since Phoenix was only a year or two older, he was almost always able to help his baby brother when he needed it. But now he had to jump into adulthood. Work and a few college courses took up a lot of his time. But seeing Lucifer so happy and friendly made him feel better. He was a kind boy, and everyone around them knew that. Sure he was shy, but once he opened up, people could see that he had no bad intentions. The older was pulled from his thoughts when he heard the other's voice. "You want my coffee? It's warm, you know, not the cold stuff you like. And I can buy you your own if you really want one." -
(w h a t)
"Perhaps I should. In fact, I think I will. That's a good idea, Dami. I'd like to do that." Hunter allowed himself to be lead out of the room. He smiled at the giggle that came from Damian, but the smile turned into a frown when he noticed how sad he looked. He was going to ask what was making him so sad, but the raven spoke before he could ask. There wasn't anything that he could think of to say to his beloved to cheer him up. Hunter had grown up with both of his parents, though his dad was always busy and didn't really care about Hunter's well being. He had always assumed that his dad's not being there was similar to not even having a dad, but when he thought about it, it wasn't anything like that. He at least had a fatherly figure that did smile at him every one in a while. Damian had no one of the sort. The poor boy didn't know what it was like to have a father. And that fact always made Hunter feel very guilty. Before he could think more into the matter, he heard his boyfriend tell him that he was sexy. The blonde snapped out of it, about ready to say that he knew the obvious. But they had already stepped into the kitchen and he didn't want to make her too curious about it. When he caught sight of Damian's mother, he smiled, pulling his beloved close. "We did sleep well, Mi-- Mom," He switched his wording in a heartbeat. "I'm sure I haven't slept so good in days."
Lucifer, after waving very excitedly to his neighbors, turned to Phoenix. He beamed once more at the older, happy giggles escaping his lips. He wanted to enjoy the morning time they had together, and then he wanted to get through school as fast as possible to get home. Now that they were together, he felt slightly better about the idea of going to school. As Phoenix responded to him, he stood on his tippy toes, nodding. "I want some warm coffee this time. And, no, I think I'll be okay. A full cup will make me sleepy."
