"Hey, look at me." Cloud turned to face Silver. "We're together, so we'll be safe." She flew over to a large rock. "I, Cloudsong of Cloudsdale, hereby pledge to- aah!" Cloud fell forward as something landed on her back. -
"CLOUD!" Silver screamed. The thing that landed on Cloud's back was just a shadow to her. She could not see the whole figure.

S_E_ NoviceCloud landed on her back, as the creature loomed over her. "Aah! What is it?" She screamed.

"I don't know!" She screamed.

S_E_ NoviceCloud screamed as it scratched her wing. "Get your dagger! Get your dagger!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

Silver scrambled for her dagger and swung it at he creature that was on Cloud.

S_E_ NoviceThe creature disolved, and Cloud fell to the ground. Her wing wasn't bleeding, but the scratchmark was black.

"Are you ok Cloud?" She asked worried.

S_E_ NoviceCloud grimaced and dropped her wing. "I'll be fine." She said. ""But what else is out there?" She wondered, looking down the dark path.

Silver gulped not wanting to know what was worse than that. "I-i think we should get going, the faster we go, the less monsters attack... i think." As she took a few steps into the forest.
