((Papa is sorry he loves yooooou
Yayy))
Drake woke when he felt the plane jerk with a landing. He sat up straight, and then when the man cam in to speak with him, he nodded desperately.
Monty beamed, "Perfect! The campus here is really pretty, you'll love it."
"Light green? Nooo. I think orange. Maybe both?" He suggested, but his focus on the baby's color palette was completely serious. -
(no he dooooon't he's lyinnnng)
The man uncuffed one of his hands, and gave him the phone, after pressing speaker. Rosario's voice came through, staticy and desprete. "Drake? Drake? They said you weren't dead, but I-I thought you were, you were being.. God, you were so limp. Oh, God, Drake," He broke off, sobbing.
"Pretty," He hummed, moving to stretch his arms as he looked around.
"Oh, baby, he's not a model. He doesn't have to look perfect," He mumbled, pressing a kiss to his cheek as they arrived at the park. -
(
This is papa's love ^^)
Drake shifted, shocked to hear that Rosario had thought him dead. "No, baby, no, I'm right here. I'm fine. And I'm coming to get you soon, I promise."
"Pretty," Monty repeated, and laughed. "Alright, let's go, then," he said, opening the door to his room.
"But he's my baby and I want him to look nice, of course." As they arrived, he still had Gus on his hip, but the baby was gazing at the colorful structures. -
(lies)
"Oh, no! No, you don't.. I-I'm okay, Drake. Please, don't come here. Go home, okay? Your dad's probably really worried."
Daniel nodded, and slipped his shoes on, and followed him out.
"Uh huh," He hummed, not really listening as he lead them to a bench. -
(no ;-;)
"I've... I have to get you, I have to. Your dad, he's worried too, maybe he'll even start liking me if I can get you out."
Monty led the way, down the hall out of the building. Outside, the grass was green and the trees matched. Stone paths led to and from every building, congregating in the middle into a pavilion with benches and a fountain.
"We'll buy little hats, too," Arcelio went on, smiling as Gus bounced with excitement while they sat down. -
(all the lies)
"I don't care about my dad! No, Drake. Go.. Go home. I don't want you to come here."
"..Oh. It is pretty," Daniel admitted, comparing it to the university he attended at home. The building there was all glass, and it was settled right next to a beach.
"No. Beanies, not hats," Rayson huffed, settling down into the beach. He held his arms out, moving to take Rayson. -
(:( papa luvs u)
Drake opened his mouth to say more, but stopped himself. Why stress Ro out like this? He would tell the boy he was going home, when really, he'd be trying to get back to him. "Okay, baby, I'll go home."
"Yeah," Monty smiled. "Medical school, dude. People pay a crap ton to go here. They better make it look nice, right?"
"Beanies? He'll be a little punk. What about those little sunhats with the strings? Those are cute." He let Rayson take Gus, and Gus seemed fine enough with it. He was too little to play on the playground, but he liked watching. -
(papa is a dirty liar)
"I.. I love you, okay? A lot." Rosario was sobbing again, and though Drake couldn't see him, his body was shaking.
"Oh, yeah. You're right," Daniel hummed, stretching and glancing around.
"You're not putting our son in a sun hat with strings! What is he, forty?" Rayson shook his head, cooing at Gus. "How about a beanie, my little baby?" -
(I may be dirty but i aint no liar)
"Of course, of course. I love you, babe. Be safe, please," he said, but more begged.
"Yep. Right, waaalking," he said, mostly to himself to remind himself of what they were supposed to be doing. He started forward, following the path towards the center. "Are you in college?"
"They're adorable!" Arcelio defended, but Gus seemed to like Rayson's idea better. When Ray spoke to him, the baby started grinning, and waving his arms. -
(are sooo)
"..I love you," He repeated, not really agreeing to the whole being safe thing. Drake knew better than anyone, even his mother, that Rosario wasn't good with stressful situations. In short, he handles them like Daniel does.
Daniel followed, and nodded. "Yeah, I am, actually. Getting a degree in theatre.." He trailed off, biting his lip. "I have a son. Micheal. God.. Allen's his legal parent. I just want my baby.."
"See? Even he knows that beanies are better," Rayson teased, grinning. -
(Are nooooot)
"I love you, baby," he said again, but sighed. Rosario hadn't promised to be safe, and Drake really wanted to hear that. "But please be careful, for me. I don't know what I would do if something happened to you. It'd be all my fault."
"Theatre, that's really cool, actually." He nodded, impressed. "I heard... I'm sure it'll get figured out. Any good lawyer can get your kid back with enough evidence."
Arcelio pouted, but Gus giggled, slapping his claps together in a sloppyclapping motion. -
(Are soooo)
"It wouldn't be your fault," Rosario muttered, refusing to promise anything. "Swear you're going home? Tell your dad I said hi, kay?"
"I doubt it," Daniel sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Anyways. Um.. What about ice cream?"
"..Arcelio, Arcellliio. I think I'm in love," Raysom muttered, eyes still focused on Gus. He squinted his eyes, pressing a kiss to his baby's chin. -
(nooooo)
(Papa's in Georgia and I apparently can't close on my house until mondayyy :(
"It will," he replied. And since Ro was being stubborn about swearing, he decided he would be the same about swearing he would stay at home. "I'll tell him."
"Ice cream? Sure. We can walk down the street for some."
Arcelio smiled, looking over at his two loves. "I know, isn't he gorgeous?" Gus laughed, his hands clapping. -
(Like can't move into your new one??)
"No," Rosario repeated, his voice going tense. "Drake, promise you wont. Please. I can't.. If you come here, they'll kill you. And then I don't know what I would do."
"Awesome," He hummed, brightening a little bit.
"He is," Rayson agreed, knowing that though he loved Victory and Rosario, this, this right here, Arcelio and Gus, was true happiness. -
(Exactly. I was planning on closing on Thursday and moving in on Friday, but now I close on Monday and move in Tuesday. So until then I'm in a hotel. Free wifi though!)
"And if you're not careful," he said just as tensely, "you'll get yourself killed too. So, I'll stay home if you promise to be careful."
"Yeah," he hummed, and started leading the way down the sidewalk away from the campus.
Gus gooed at Rayson, seeming excited, as the baby swung his arms around. Arcelio watched lovingly. "Mhm. Our baby."
