Drake smiled down at him, especially when the younger wrapped him up. "Maybe just a couple of minutes."
Arcelio taunted Allen, like a sassy teenager mimicking their parent's speech by quietly going 'blah blah blah'.
The nurse, meanwhile, went to the side of Daniel's bed, picking his chart up from the side table. "Ehm... Daniel, right? It looks like you're an in-patient, but probably just for tonight as long as I check you out as stable." -
"Can you wait till I'm asleep?" Rosario made a small, happy noise, closing his eyes.
Allen, who quickly grew fed up, stood and left, saying a short, "I'm taking Micheal back to the hotel."
Daniel frowned, furrowing his brow. "Why can't I leave now?" -
"Of course," he agreed, kissing his nose. "I'll stay up and cover you up before I get cleaned up."
Arcelio watched him go, furrowing his eyebrows. He couldn't let Michael go with Allen, especially when the man was angry. So he stood up, to follow him out.
Gill chewed his lip, looking over the chart again, looking for any sort of loophole that would let Daniel leave. "No, I'm sorry... You have to be kept under care over night. Do you have any relatives who are doctors, maybe?" -
Rosario hummed in agreement, nodding happily. He yawned, and soon, he was drifting off.
Outside, Allen had Micheal on his hip, stroking the sleeping child's hair, swaying as he spoke to Charlie.
"No. And I can't stay over night. And you can't keep me against my will. Please, I really can't," He said, the last bit coming out in a sob. -
(Pf
I was designated driver and I had to do the responsible thing and drop off everyone to bed
Eeehd now im alone)
Drake tried to stay awake, he really did, but while Rosario started to fall asleep he set his face in the boy's neck and started to drift off himself.
When he went out, Arcelio saw Allen talking to Charlie, and went up to speak with them as well. "Allen, Charlie, what're we chatting about?"
Gill shifted on his feet a little, continuing to pour over the clipboard of papers like it would tell him what to do. After all, he was only two weeks into the job, and had no idea how to deal with an upset patient. "Uhm, uhm, I mean, maybe I can figure something out, I'm just... Just a student." -
(Aw so you didn't get any? D:
Guess what? Kevyn's a dick)
Charlie threw his hands up. "Rayson took off. And he wants to get a cab and take the kid back to the hotel!"
"Don't yell," Allen scolded, shaking his head. "You'll take Micheal up."
Daniel would have said something, but he was full-on sobbing now. The last time he had been in the hospital was the last time he had tried to kill himself. He'd had to have his stomach pumped, and it had been a horrible experience, and he just really wanted to go home. -
(Naaah
Whats his address lemme at him)
"In you dreams," he muttered to Allen, glaring daggers at him. "You can leave Michael here with me."
"Hey, don't- don't do that," he set the clip board back down, running a hand through his hair. "Maybe I can fiddle with your papers a bit. Or find you a visiting nurse." -
(Aw sorry Papa
No it's whatever)
"I don't have to," Allen hummed, continuing to rock his son. "He's my child. And I want to go home."
"I-I just w-want to g-go home," He choked out, continuing to sob. -
(I mean there's always next time, I'm not gonna do that to someone who's drunk.
U sure because papa's ready)
"You're not going home with any child alone. I'll go with you, or I'm calling the police."
"I'll try," he mumbled, and picked up the clipboard, along with his pencil. He glanced around, and then, looking back down at the papers, he started erasing. "Oh my god I'm gonnabeinsomuchtrouble." -
(Yeah don't do that you can get in troubles
I'm sure I just feel s---ty)
"Daniel doesn't want to press charges. Imagine what it'll do to Micheal," Allen mused, stopping that low. "He'll be real messed up."
Daniel was growing frustrated, and felt the oncoming of a panic attack. Only half thinking, he pulled the IV out, along with the tube that was slowly returning blood to his body. It hurt pretty bad, and he sobbed louder, pulling his knees to his chest. -
(Yeah
Okay boo :c)
Arcelio felt that he might have punched Allen right there, if both of them hadn't been holding kids. "I can't... Believe you, you a--hole."
Gill panicked, and set down the clip board, going back to the side of the bed. The IV was still dripping away, getting blood all over the floor. "God, god," he mumbled, and leaned over the edge of the bed. "It's okay, I'll fix it," he said, trying to comfort the crying boy. -
(I'm just a huge walking talking piece of s---)
"Too bad. Now, I'm going to take my son, and get my things, and go to the air port. There'll be a ticket waiting for Danny when he heads home. Bye." With that, Allen headed towards the end of the parking lot, where the rented car was waiting.
The boy didn't want it to be fixed. He wanted to leave, and he was tempted to get up and leave, but he was bleeding, and the room was spinning, and he couldn't seem to catch his breath, much less move. -
(No you're not you are my princess mother whom I can't live without.)
Arcelio shuffled his feet, but he was holding the baby. He couldn't just go after Allen. "Charlie, you have to do something. You have to stop him."
Gill realized that the bleeding was something he wasn't exactly qualified to take care of, he really did, but Daniel just seemed to be so stressed about doctors that he didn't want to call another one in. "Okay. Bleeding, you're bleeding," he breathed, and rushed about the room. He found gauze wrap, and went back to Daniel. "Please, just let me patch you up really quick." -
(Your princess mother is a huge walking talking piece of s--- sorry)
Charlie sighed, shaking his head. "I can't, Arcelio. As much as I like Danny, I'm not getting involved in this. He's not abusing the kid, so.. Let it be for now."
"Y-Y-You're not f---ing t-touching m-me," Daniel hissed, squirming away from Gill, still sobbing and freaking out. -
(No you're not
Why do you think so?)
Arcelio didn't know what to say to say to that. After being quiet for a second, Gus squirmed, made a happy sound, and grabbed Arcelio's chin. "Okay, Charlie," the man ended up saying, and walked off to find a place where he could call Rayson in private.
"You're going to bleed out," he said, still holding the gauze. "It'll only take a minute, I promise."
