"Who are you, and why are you hear?" She inquired, walking out from her hiding place, blue eyes glowing faintly in the candlelight.

"I'm Taylor. I'm on a... A quest, to meet people with magical abilities. I'm assuming you're the person who makes this place "haunted"?" -
(hey I make mistakes don't be judging me)
"Haunted? Like, ghosts?" She blinked. -
"Yeah. Or haunted, like.. Weird things going on." He furrowed his brow. "Do you not have.. Magic..?"

She blinked, unsure if she should tell him what she was or not. Her parents had always warned her not to tell strangers.
"Depends..." She replied slowly. -
Taylor frowned, clicking his tongue. "What a stubborn lady." He gently plucked Doll off of his belt, setting it down on the floor. He murmured something quietly. Doll glowed, growing from a small little doll into a tall human figure.
"Bow for the woman, Doll." He barked. Doll did as it was told, one hand resting on its stomach, the other out with a nice gesture. -
Elva's eyes widened. "Oh.." She gasped, then relaxed. Another magic user wasn't going to harm her, well at least not using the normal excuse.
"Pleasure to meet you, Doll." She giggled, then turned back to Taylor. "I'm Elva, a witch." -
A grin broke out on his face. "I'm Taylor. A mage. Well, kinda a mage.. Not quite." He walked over to her, holding out his hand.
Doll had been awakened- it could have said something back. But it was nervous. It bowed its head in a greeting. -
She glanced at his hand, then shook it. "Kinda a mage?"

"Kinda because I can't do more than one thing.. My magic's limited." He shrugged.

"And that'd be your Doll, I take?"

"Precisely." He smiled, pulling away. "What about yours?"

"I can do...a number of things. I've memorized a lot of spells." She replied.

"That's cool! How long did it take you to learn all of them?"

"Most of my life. I used to practise all the time.." She trailed off, sighing.
