"Because I have no where to go. That...Thing took away my only family and... made me into this. I don't want to hurt people, I don't want to be the monster that created me. Proffessor Cricket understood and wanted me to be free so he let me escape." She leaned back against the wall. "The Wolf changed my life and made me like this. everyone from the village thought I killed my grandmother so thy sent me here." she looked at him. "Happy now."

"Very much so." He claimed and sat back. "So then why don't we escape together? Of course we would have to take the three cats with us.. I have a place we can stay. It's far but we could take the trains that run not to far from here." He shrugged.

Soon Kita was asleep, her head in Katsa's lap. The two purred in synchronization.

She panicked a bit. "No! I-I mean no. I'd hurt someone out there. What the wolf did to me is meant to hurt people. I about killed a guard once after treatment!" She calmed down and frowned. "Escape is sucide. Dr. Crooked will hunt us down."

"He might hunt us down but once we get far enough they will leave us alone. They can't send every guard after us.. Or everyone else here will escape too. Then you'll have a whole bunch of fairytales escaped." He shrugged and looked out the window.
Cheshire sighed and shifted, he bounced over to the Sister's room and pawed at their window with a hearty mew. -
Katsa gently sat Kita down and wiped the blood off her lips, going over and opening the window.
"Hey." -
"You dont get it do you! I did escape, I escaped with Alice and they sent the wolf after us! I watched her die and I couldnt do anything! They stuck me n treatment for a week with Dr. Crooked! He tortured me with treatment." She took a deep breath. "Its my fault Alice is dead."

Hatter twitched. "Alice... Alice is dead?" He whispered and looked up at her with horror filled eyes. He had remebered the night she left, she had kissed him goodbye. He could still feel her on his mouth.
Chesire shifted and smiled sleepily. "Hey.." He frowned and wiped the blood from her mouth. "You're bleeding.." He whined. -
"Kita had a fit. It's nothing." She replied, blushing slightly at his touch.

Red covered her mouth and turned away from him. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for her to get hurt. she was trying to protect me from the wolf...." she sat down on her bed and held her head in her hands.

Chesire frowned and took her hand. "Come to the roof with me? I can't sleep." He frowned and sighed.
Hatter put his face in his hands and whimpered like a kicked dog. "Where did you leave her? Her body I mean.. Where is it?" He looked at her from between his fingers. -
Katsa nodded. "Sure." She whispered, glancing one last time at her sleeping sister.

She looked up at him. "There wasn't anything left of her Hatter. Dr. Crooked made sure there was nothing left of her..." She soon started crying. "I'm sorry...I couldn't do anything for her."

Hatter took off his hat and just stared into it like it had the answers. "I was going to get out of here.. And meet her again." He whispered softly and closed his eyes. For a long time he didn't move or say anything.
Cheshire nodded an shifted, scrambling ontop of the roof and shifting back. He laid on his back and stared at the sky. -
Katsa followed and did the same, then sat there beside him, staring at the stars and trying to remember their names.
