"I know, right? That's why I.. I'm kinda.." He stopped, realizing he had said too much.
-
"You're kinda what?" She blinked, turning to look at the boy.

Abel just shook his head. He went over to the painting, about to walk across it, but found that his foot went through. He yelped as he fell into the painting.
-
"Kid!" Tatiana yelled, trying to grab him as he fell. When that didn't work, she hesitated only a second before walking into the painting after him.
-
He kept his eyes shut as he fell. He didn't know what was going on- Only that it was starting to scare him. Once he felt his body touching something, he opened his eyes. He was alone in a room with a vase and a orange flower. Nose twitching, he stood up and retrieved it.
-
Tatiana opened her eyes to be in a seemingly empty room. She glanced around, unable to even see a door.
"Hello? Kid?" She called, beginning to get worried. "Kid? Don't play these games." -

He was admiring its beauty when he saw one of the petals was wilting. He plucked it off and felt a shooting pain go up his hand into his body. Startled, he watched the petal disappear.
When Abel looked up, he saw that the vase was gone and a pedestal with a table full of paint and paint brushes was in its place. On the wall beside it, it read, Paint a pretty door to help you and your lady friend to escape. It has to be a brown door. An all brown door with purple. Failure to complete this task will result in loosing your pretty face~ He frowned. How can you make an all brown door with purple if it has to all be brown? -
Tatiana sighed, and stood up, going over to examine the walls. She tapped on each lightly in different places, hoping one would be hallow enough for her to kick through it. No such luck.
"Goddammit." She cursed, then paused as she heard a giggle. She turned, startled, looking for the source of the noise. There was no one in there with her. The giggling continued. -
He went over to the table, grabbing brown paint. Carefully, he made the outline of the door, then filled it in. Now was the hard part. He had to get purple in it too. His mind couldn't put it together.
As he thought about it, he realized he needed a doorknob. "An all brown door.. Purple.. Purple doorknob, maybe?" He closed his eyes, putting a doorknob made out of purple paint on the door. -
Hehehehehe...teehee..
The giggling continued, escalating to a level where Tatiana could focus on nothing else. She collapsed to the ground, head turning, glancing everywhere and anywhere, trying to find the noise. -
At first, he thought he did it wrong. He was about to fix it when a door appeared on the right side. Beside it was another note. She likes dolls. You should like them too. Abel made a mental note in his mind as he hurried out. "Lady! Lady, where are you?"
-
A voice broke through the giggles. As it spoke, the giggling began to subside. She managed to stand back up, running toward the wall the voice sounded from.
"Kid?! Kid! Are you there?" She called, then frowned, noticing some writing scribbled on the wall.
To find the key, look closer. -
"Y-Yeah, I'm here! Is there a door anywhere?" He stared at the wall. How'd they end up separated like this? He figured it was because he went through a few seconds before her. He stared down at his flower. Maybe she had one too.
-
"I..I don't see one, let me look a moment." She said, then examined the wall closer. Soon she found what looked like a faint outline drawn in charcoal. She banged on the wall, and it sounded hallow.
She took a deep breath, then kicked at it, and the door flung open. A key skittered to the ground outside the room, landing at Abel's feet.
"Ha!" Tatiana said, smiling faintly. " Found it." -
Abel picked up the key, inspecting it. He put it in his pocket, running over to her. He clung to her hand. "Let's try not to separate again, okay? This place gives me the creeps." In his other hand was the rose. He looked at her. "What happened on your side..?"
