  "Stephen!" She said, her smile widening. She took me in a hug as I propped myself up. "I missed you. I got your letter."
  "That's great. How are you?"
  "I'm well, and you."
  "I'm fine." She giggled, and playfully hit my arm. I beamed at her and pointed down the road. "The pub. Would you like to have a bite to eat?"
  "I don't see why not. Come, let us go."
  I followed her. She walked slowly enough for me to follow.

  "How is Cambridge?" She asked, stopping in the midst of the pavement. I smiled at her and nodded.
  "Could always be worse, yes?" She giggled at that and went on. I went after her and she held the door open for me. "Thanks."
  "Do you get to spend much time looking at the stars?" She joked. I almost frowned.
  "Is that supposed to mean something, Jane? But I suppose not. Too much.. Work to do."
