  In this dimension, these two have never met and FF is not a popular game. In fact, only a handful even know of it. Seeing as it is now an old game, getting it is almos impossible.
  Cloud is a proffesional martial artist, and Aeris is a florist. Cloud has no memory of his parents because he was given up at an early age. He was never adopted and was raised in the orfanage he was put in. He goes to fighting tournaments and is famous for his skills. He led a nice life, until everything changed.
  Cloud goes into a new town for a tournament. He accidentally knocks a lower display over when he trips over somebody's, who is unknown, feet. The flower display belongs to Aeris Gainsborough, who was selling flowers on the corner as a promotion. Basically, much merchandise is destroyed, so Aeris says he can work it off. She promises time off for his fights. Cloud agrees, though hesitantly.
  Cloud meets a man named Sephiroth. The man seems to follow Cloud, and it is revealed that he will be Cloud's opponent. Unknown to Cloud, the man stops by Aeris' shop and threatens to kill her if she doesn't hand other a necklace that holds a stone (actually White Material). Aeris refuses, for she received the necklace from her late mother, and says she is going to call the police. Sephiroth leaves, enraged. However, Aeris is too frightened to call the police.
  Cloud finds a gaming article about a game called Final Fantasy 7. Seeing as the hero shares his name, Cloud becomes obsessed. He finds out about everything, even Aeris' death. He then starts to remember a past life in another dimension where his life was the game. He tells Aeris, and she also begins to remember. Although Cloud doesn't notice, Aeris finds out about the White Material in her necklace. She plans to, after the big martial arts tournament, meet with Cloud in a park. She wants to surprise him by using the White Materia to stop the Black Materia. It then plays out as the game, as Sephiroth finds out they will meet there and plans to then kill Aeris.
  In this dimension, Sephiroth cannot control Cloud.
  The rest of the soap just goes on from where I left off. You can be either Cloud or Aeris, although I myself prefer Aeris, I really don't mind.
