I'm kind of really into the whole crime lord scene these days. ewe
SO THERE'S THIS CRIME LORD, RIGHT?
He/she leads a rather large network which includes such trades as drugs, human traff---ing, prostitution, black market trades/auctions, money laundering, assassinations/cons/theft.. Pretty much just whatever profitable business they could possibly be part of. They are extremely wealthy and because of their major role in the underground, well-respected and feared.
Their partner stays by their side in spite of this rather ugly truth, as the two are deeply in love. They're going to be together forever, because, after all, love is blind. Love is also dressed up in furs and gold and diamonds. The partner may be just a touch manipulative, but, hey, who isn't in the face of such opportunity? The partner may use his/her intimacy to carry out their own personal vendettas, settle their own scores, or just for a little extra spending money now and then. Whether or not this partner is already aware of the business the crime lord is in at the beginning of the soap is up to whoever plays the part.
Ooohh, scandalous. We've got a story already, don't we? No, not quite. The two may be badly paired, but in the end, they're on the same side. We need an antagonist.
Authority figure. Police officer, detective, FB f---ing I agent, I don't care. A close friend of the partner's. While the crime lord remains faceless, the AF doesn't realize that he/she's constantly in the company of the person they're trying to find, perhaps even drinking brandy paid for by the blood money they're trying to trace. While they wouldn't wish to see that their friend (the partner) had gotten tangled up in this kind of business, it's hard not to notice the sudden change in behavior, the expensive tastes, the patterns.. They'll chase down several of the crime lords' underlings, battle the internal sort of battle people battle when they're trying to believe someone is innocent and that's basically it. It's a big complicated mess of crime and secrets and romance.
[romance intensifies]
My rules:
-No godplay.
-No laziness. You'll type full sentences.
-No one will try to make their character the star of the soap.
-Be realistic. -
I'd like to join. This seems interesting.
-
Une seconde, sil vous plait.
-
I'm sorry, might you write me a little passage so I can see your style?
-
What shall I write about?
-
Whatever you like.
-
Hmm.... is it okay if I put an excerpt from the Wattpad book I'm writing? If not, I'll write a random short story.
-
Seems legit. Go right on ahead.

Here we go! (Sorry that it's so long!)
Vivian's POV
I woke up screaming from my nightmare. No, not nightmare. My memory. Of the night my parents died. The cars coming towards us, so fast, not stopping. Waking up in the hospital, with the news that I was now an orphan. I got up and went to the kitchen, pulling out some pancake batter. Toby was stopping by this morning. That's right. Toby, as in Ticci Toby, was my ultimate best friend and secret crush.
...Don't tell him that, though.
I heard a knock on the window and yelled "Hold on a sec!" I put the pancake mix on the counter and opened the window, stepping back as Toby jumped inside. "Hiya Vivi!" he said, skipping into the kitchen, while twitching occasionally. "Whatcha makin?" I rolled my eyes and followed him. "Boiled cat potatoes." I said sarcastically. Toby gasped. "That is so cruel!" He shouted. "Says the murderer!" I said. "Besides, I was being sarcastic. I'm making pancakes." He started jumping up and down. "Pancakes!!!" He yelled in joy. "Shh!" I shushed him. "Do you want to wake the neighbors?!" He looked at his feet. "N-no..." I smirked. "I didn't think so. Now sit down and eat some pancakes."
While we feasted on our delicious pancakes, I said, "So since I'm 16, I'm dropping out of school today." He stopped and looked at me. "What would you do all day?" he asked. "I dunno." I said, looking towards the closet where I kept my scythe, Crescent Death, hidden. CD was my little secret, and nobody knew about her, not even Toby. "Well," I said, gathering my dishes and putting them in the dishwasher, "I'm going to call the school." I picked up the phone and dialed the school. "Hello, this is Eaten High, how may I help you?" I heard the secretary ask. "Hello Ms. Grey, this is Vivian Hale, I'm calling to officially drop out." I said smoothly. I had rehearsed this conversation many a time. "Okay, Ms. Hale, thank you for calling. Have a nice day." Ms. Grey replied before hanging up. I sat back down at the table with Toby. "So..." I said, trailing off. "Sorry Vivi, I have to go now." he said. "Okay. See ya later, Toby." I said. Once I was sure he was gone, I transformed into my second form, Silent Violet, and grabbed CD, heading out the back door. I was thirsty for blood, and I knew I had to do something. -
I suppose you shall do.
WE NEED ONE MORE SOAPER GUIZE -
Yay!
:D -
DAMMIT YOU GOT MY HOPES UP
MISTY DON'T POST HERE UNTIL WE GET ANOTHER PARTNER -
I'll join.
Who do you guys want to be? I'll pick up the slack. -
Oh lovely. One of my favorite roleplayers.
I'd like to be either one of the bad guys. I don't mind having either the partner or the crime lord.
You two are my guests, however, so you get first pick. -
Well, I'm a big fan of noir, so I'd prefer to be the detective, but either one is fine by, so it comes down to who Misty wants.
