"Woah.." I groaned at the sunlight in my face. I must have passed out while freaking out about Sapphira. I got out of bed, quickly getting dressed, and jogged all of the way to the hospital. It took me about ten minutes to get there. When I did, the lobby lady directed me to her room. "Thanks, lady!" I huffed as a ran to Sapphire's room. As soon as I got there, I burst through the door, grinning. "And how's my lovely girl today?"

I turned my head towards the familiar voice and smiled when I saw Adrian. "I'm fine. I'm also glad you're here! It was way too quiet." My smiled faded from my face. " My dad though, he...." I trailed off not wanting to continue.

I went over to her, plopping down in the dictor's chair. I was silent for a while. Poor Sapphira. Her father meat everything to her.. "I'm glad I'm here too." I lowered my voice. "What happened? How'd you get stuck here?"

I looked at him and shivered as I recalled it. "W-we were watching T-the Ring, and we kept hearing strange noises, but we b-blamed it on the movie. Then the movie f-finished, but the noises didn't stop. We went too see why, but when we went to the k-kitchen there was blood all over the w-walls and all oour kitchen knives were g-gone... then I woke up here." I explained looking at my hands too see they were shaking slightly. I had left out the eyes, but he would think I was crazy if I had mentioned them.

My eyes widened in horror. I put a hand on her shoulder, letting out a low whistle. "So a murderer was in your house? That must be scary.. And you didn't see what he or she did? Just saw the blood and no knives?" I but my lip. I wanted to badly be able to protect her, but I wanted to know who'd I be up against to protect my friend.

(Just realized i forgot her age! She can be 14 as well.)
I shook my head. "No, just the blood and the missing knives. But why would anyone want to do that to us? It's not like my family has any enemies or anything." Just the thought of someone wanting me dead made me terrified. What was I going to do? My only remaining parent-no, RELATIVE- was dead, I was an only child.... "Adrian, what would you do if they took me away? I mean.... I have no living relatives. They might ship me off to some foster family." I felt tears swell up in my eyes. "I don't wanna leave." I whispered, allowing a couple tears to slide down my cheeks. -

I bit my lip. This was the perfect time to bring up the fact that I wanted her to move on with my family and I. "I think that you won't get shipped away. My parents heard about the thing, and I've always wanted you to live with me, so if you want.. You can come live with us~" -
I looked at him. I felt more years, but this time from joy. I smiled brightly. "Really?" I asked. "You guys would do that?" I was ecstatic, truthfully. But I didn't want to look weird in a hospital. Anywhere else and I would have danced for joy.

"Really. All I have to do is find out when you're getting out of this hellhole so I can get the spare room ready." I grinned with delight at her.

I grinned back at him, and said, "We'll when the doctor comes back we could ask when I can leave." I said. I leaned over while holding my arms out. "Anyway. Come over here and give me a hug, since I can't get up." I said. More like demanded, actually.

I chuckled, sliding over to Sapphira. I gave her a sturdy hug, not letting go. "I hope you know that I don't ever plan on leaving you, okay? So I'll always be by your side, Sapp." -
(I'VE NEVER ACTUALLY SEEN IT I JUST KNOW ABOUT IT 0.0 NOW I WILL PROBABLY NEVER WATCH IT)
"I know." I said, simply enjoying the hug. I heard a knock on the door. "Hello?" I heard the female voice of my nurse, Cara, coming from the door. -
(IT'S ONLY ON EPISODE 12)
I looked at the door. I pulled myself away from her, clearing my throat. "I can wait outside.." -
(I KNOW NOW I JUST WATCHED EPISODE 1)
"Whatever you want to do." I said. Just then, the nurse came in. "Miss Heart, you've been cleared to leave at the end of the day." I blinked at her. "Uh, okay. Is that all?" She nodded. "Yes. I'll leave you and your friend now." She left before I could say thank you. I just sat there, only half comprehending what she had said.
