In his head, it said, Don't you remember me? I'm Rowan's familiar. The one who killed b----es for her.

"....Is that really you?.." He narrowed his eyes at the demon.

Mmhm. I'm here to rescue you. It flashed its fangs at him. It took us a while, but we found out how to get here. And now I get to take you back. It offered a hand to him.

He couldn't believe this. But without hesitation, he took the demon's hand.

The demon flickered, a snicker plastered on its face. You'll be turning into a demon on our short trip back.. Ah.. Have fun. They both were surrounded by blackness before they started falling into nothing. A bright hole was at the end- about five minutes fall away.

"A-a demon??" He could already feel his body changing. His skin started to pale slightly. Then small fangs emerged from his gums.

It stayed silent as they fell. It wasn't one for talking much. It watched Horatio with slight amusement.

His blue eyes shifted colors. Going from blue violet, to violet, to red violet. Soon his hair began to change color. It was a raven black, with a few blonde streaks in it.

The fall was over as soon as they fell through the blinding light. They had fallen right on the floor of Twisted's kitchen. The demon stood up, pulling Horatio up as well.
In the living room, Twisted was curled up on the floor with a little boy, his eyes spaced out. He didn't notice Horatio or the demon at all. Rowan was sitting on the couch, her red hair a strawberry blonde. She looked only slightly older than she had been. Upon hearing a thump, she looked over. Squealing with delight, she yelled, "HORATIO'S BACK!" Twisted scrambled up, staring at him. The boy was fast asleep in his arms. -
He stumbled a bit. Then looked up to see the two. "..." A grin slowly grew on his face. "Twisted... Rowen...."

Twisted set the sleeping child down, running over to Horatio. Both Rowan and Twisted tackled him to the floor, wrapping their arms around him at the same time.

"Um, ow??" He was happy but slightly hurt.

"Sorry.. It's just.." Twisted squeezed him. "God, I've missed you so much." He buried his face in Horatio's neck. Rowan giggled happily once more. "Your hair looks nice."

He held on to Twisted. "I've missed you too..." Horatio took a glance at the long bang of his hair. "Thanks."

The boy woke up, yawning loudly. Rowan slipped away from Horatio, running over to him. Twisted started crying silent tears of joy.
