He looked rather weary at the word conversation. He nodded to her. One thing he could use from his assassination training would be to play his part; talking was a part of being in this family. So he'd play along for Rosemary.

"We don't? But aren't honeymoons for after marriages?" Elliot teased. He intertwined their fingers, swinging their arms a bit. He could hardly contain the joy he felt. It was only the natural shell of no emotion that stayed on his face that held him back.
-
(Sorry if I'm slow. Several RP requests to respond to)
Elliot flashed one of his rare dazzling smiles. "Good evening, Mr. Short." He released Rosemary's hand, standing beside her, trying very hard not to touch her. He knew it would be important not to do anything while they were at the table.
With an innocent look on his face, he walked over to Greyson, placing a hand on the one he was using to hold the fork. He flipped it around before neatly stabbing the chicken and handing it to the boy. "Pointy side down.. You wouldn't want to hurt yourself." He then returned to Rosemary's side, praying he hadn't made anyone upset. -
(Alright~)
Elliot sat beside her, making sure to keep his elbows off of the table. He didn't know whether to respond to Avian's "complement" or not, so he sat there in awkward silence, staring at the table with sudden interest.
He remembered on a whim that Greyson had smiled at him. He hastily looked up, locking his eyes on the boy's, giving back a friendly smile. -
Elliot's head quickly snapped up at the mention of hang-up calls and threat letters. "A guard? That's.. That's kind of idiotic, don't you think? I'm fully capable of protecting you-" He stopped himself as he remembered that that wasn't his job anymore. He bowed his head down. "I apologize for speaking out of term.. Yes, it's fine." He fell back into his mute self.
There was hardly anything on his plate. He hoped Rosemary wouldn't notice that he hadn't eaten much at all- and his outburst made him want to crawl under the table and stay there for all eternity. He didn't feel hungry anymore. -
His eyes brightened like a child eating a tub of ice cream. "I would be more than happy to protect Rosemary with my life. If there's anything else you need me to do, I'd honestly be more than happy to do it." He smiled and pushed up his glasses. He was glad that he would be able to protect the only thing he really loved, and to be able to have access to being his old self- This time, for something better than killing someone for money. For someone.
Elliot glanced at the plate in horror. "Rose! That has your girl germs on it!" He teased lightly. He stabbed it with a fork and began to lightly nibble on the chicken. He still wasn't hungry, but he planned to do what she'd ask of him with no aruguement. -
Elliot smiled at Rosemary. He gently placed his hand on hers. He almost didn't say anything, but knew it would be okay if he did. "What are you cleaning there, Rose? Do I have chicken on my face?" He didn't say anything else after that.
Typical Elliot. -
Elliot grinned, leaning his forehead against hers. "Night, Greyson." He stroked her hair. "Yes, I do have your germs, don't I? But I like those germs. Just not the ones in my mouth." It was the most he had ever spoken that wasn't important. "Looks like I'll be sleeping with you tonight."
-
Elliot kept up with her the best he could. It wasn't that hard, seeing as she was slower than anyone he had killed before.. He shoved the thought away and smiled at her. He said nothing as he caught up to her, waiting for her to start walking again.
-
All it took was one glance into her eyes to know that something important was up. He grabbed her arm. "Is something wrong? Do you know something important, Rose?" He frowned at her, his lip quivering. "Are you feeling sick?" He didn't know much else to say.
-
Elliot didn't feel like following her. He stood at the bottom of the stairs. Why would she lie to him like that? He sighed, slowly following her. He was behind her by two feet. Each step made him slightly angry at himself.
-
Elliot had a helpless look on his face. He clenched his hand into fists. "Rose, you said it was nothing! That's serious! I need to know what to be prepared for." He ran back down the stairs, retrieving the other bag he had left that no one had touched. He ran back over to her. "..Thank god I still have stuff. You'll be safe, I promise." He kissed her cheek. "They won't kill you or your father."
-
Elliot didn't say anything. He stood beside her side again, yawning a silent yawn. He hadn't meant to upset her, but it was too late. He sighed. "Show me the way, so I know where to go when you're done washing up."
-
Elliot jumped back. He didn't want to go into her room after hearing all of the slams. He normally didn't have to deal with girls, and so he didn't really know what to do at that point. He leaned against the wall that was by her door.
