'Let there be no Genesis' is the first command given by God, called Yisun. For indeed, there was none. Yisun had always existed, and always not existed. At the instant of Yisun's creation and death, Yisun was undisputed master of all. Yisun knew all multidimensional songs, knew all the syllables of the royalty, and wielded the infinite powers of reality.
Existing in infinite state though, Yisun has no equal. It was a wretched life, without meaning or perception. Imagine infinite stories to tell, but no one to listen. So God rejected singularity, and made the first and greatest division. Division of self.
From division was born duality; the white god Un, master of all that is not, and the black god Yis, master of all that is. The two then fought, disgusted by the others hideousness. And when they were done, 7 years later, Yisun made division again. 777,777 gods. The multiplicity.
They raised a city of iron and red, and warred there for 777 more years. And when the Gods tired of fighting, they faced away from the city, and sang a different story. Each story burned a line, and each line a spoke, and every spoke a wheel.
777,777 Gods, 777,777 universes: with the city of iron and red in the middle, the ultimate mausoleum.
Welcome to Throne.
Practical details in the next post. -
Welcome to Throne, grave of the Gods.
The city of Throne is not what you would typically expect though. It is a mountain city, weaved between the decaying stone bodies of the Gods; on which the people live their lives. There is a constant mist at the bases of these husks, and those who venture down never venture up. Everyone is connected through either bridge, airship or 'trains,' giant beasts who make a living ferrying people between mountains.
There are four factions in the city of Throne. The black children of Un, who exist to build but not perceive the universe. The white children of Yis, who exist to perceive but not build the universe. The white children of Un, who exist to uphold the laws of the universe and the black children of Yis, who exist to break them. The four live in relative harmony, but it is a weak one; with fights and disagreements breaking out daily.
Finally, there is the royalty. Unlike here, Royalty is not something born, but something learned. Those who show talent in the language of Royality, regardless of race, are taken as nobles among all, and trusted with keeping the universes from leaking. It is a grave offense to attack Royalty, as they carry the lives of all on their shoulders.
Character details below. -
I trust everyone will be familiar with this, though I honestly don't expect anyone to join, so I shall move straight to the list, with an example at the bottom.
Name: (Your given name.)
Faith: (Do you follow Un, Yis, or forge your own destiny?)
Appearance: (What you look like, including clothes and weapons.)
Royalty: (Have you dedicated your life to saving not just this world, but all the worlds?)
Personality: (How you act, your core principles and anything you think is important to know.)
Backstory: (Optional, and generally assumed to be normal, but what makes you different from everyone else?)
Below is an example, and the character I will be playing if even a single person joins.
Name: Sai Kebash.
Faith: Un
Appearance: Sai stands at about seven feet, just barely towering over people as he walks. His skin is scarred, but his simple black ponytail and unblemished face make him seem friendly. A simple toga is draped over his shoulders, and he travels barefoot.
Royalty: No.
Personality: Sai is a simple man, with simple pleasures and simple goals. To see peace delivered to Throne, regardless of cost. He has a tendency to go overboard when threatened, and is rather simple minded; but pursues goals with great vigor. He makes friends easy, but loses them just as fast, but he always carries with him a message of hope that some day, maybe, everything will get better.
Backstory: Sai always dreamed of joining the White Children of Un; to drive back the hordes of evil, to save beautiful maidens and save the day at the last minute. At 18, he got his wish, becoming the youngest to ever join the Children. Three years later, he's still waiting for his chance to save the day, but is none the less certain it will eventually come. -
