She blinked lightly and let him carry her to his room.

And so they went on to do the sex, and it was kind of weird, because they were different, but mostly exciting in a good way.

After it was said and done, Cassie curled up next to him. She felt different, but in a good way.

Afterward, laying next to her, he knew that what they'd done was a horrible idea. But she hadn't seemed to regret it, and he didn't, either. He'd done this with another of his species before simply for the sake of reproduction, but this felt so much better. And human anatomy was weird, in an incredibly beautiful way.

Cassie regretted nothing, absolutely nothing. She of course fell asleep a few hours later, dreaming of nothing important.

He fell asleep as well, and they slept until the next morning.

Cassie woke up when she felt light hit her face. She groaned a bit and sat up, with part of the blanket covering her. She blinked lightly and looked down, noticing she had no clothes on. She panicked a bit and then remembered what happened. She blushed deeply.

Orion was still asleep, laying on his chest. The sheets were still pulled up over him for the most part, but the dark ridge running down his back was visible through the sheets.

She smiled a bit and leaned down to his ear. "Orion wake up." She started to mess with his hair

He groaned and slowly started to open his eyes. "What...?"

She laughed lightly. "We have to go on a run today, remember?"

He looked up at her. "Can I just enjoy the view here instead?" he asked.

She blushed lightly and laughed a bit more. "But you still need to work Ori."

He sighed, and sat up. "Alright... We should probably shower."

She nodded lightly and stood up, slipping on her shirt and pants. "Yeah, I think we both need a shower." She smiled at him and started to walk out of the room.
