Both guys omg.
Oh and not it. -
Aren't they pretty? It'll be a shame to kill mah little Loui.
Rory was busy getting ready for the ball that was being held in his father's mansion in just a few minutes. Girls and boys, ages ranging from 13 and up, would be there.
He wondered if he'd be recognizable. Probably not. His mask was Halloween themed, a black bird's face with orange lacing around the edges. No one would suspect that he of all people would like the holiday. -
Tabitha's mask was a cat, which was predictable for her. It matched her well though, and her dress. It was Gold and accented with red. Her hair was pinned back, and fell in elegant curls over her shoulder.
She smiled. This would be fun. She hoped Loui would enjoy it as much as herself.
Her masssskkk -
Rory slipped his contacts in. Believe him, he'd run into others or step on their feet if he didn't wear them. He checked himself out. Perfect.
With one steady hand, he slipped the mask over his face, tying it with the other. He was, in the least to say, still official yet hidden. Rory smiled, despite the fact it was hidden.
It occurred to him Tabitha would be there. Too bad it'd be hard to spot her. -
(I'll be back in two hours or so. Bye bye)
-
(I'm gonna assume she's already there so yep)
She glanced around, looking from person to person, playing a guessing game with herself, trying to determine what each patron looked like under their masks. -
(Alrighty. See ya.)
-
Rory stepped out of his room and walked down the hall. The sound of chatter flowed down, and he was easily able to reach the correct door. Taking in a breath, he took the handle and turned it, stepping into the room.
Hundreds of people were wearing masks in the room, laughing, talking, and some even dancing. He put a hand to his head.
Loui's eyes followed Tabitha's body. He had a dog mask on. He wondered if she'd laugh at his cruel sense of humor. It wasn't Loui's fault he was the son of an abusive father. In fact, Loui was blessed enough to be there. -
"Look at all the people." She said, suddenly. She smiled. She had a charm about her. Even the smallest of sentences could have so much meaning for her.
She glanced around the room, then turned to Loui, smiling. "Isn't this amazing? All the masks, so many different people." -
Loui nodded, adjusting the mask. His eyes scanned the crowd. There were indeed many different people. Many different masks. He put his hand out to her. "Shall we dance?"
Rory was pulled aside by his father. He was told he had to go socialize, and that it would be good for him. He groaned. Throughout his whole life, there was only one person he connected with.
He carefully made his way to the dance floor. Many girls swarmed over to him. He settled for one wearing a bird mask and began to dance.
