RP: A easy, fun, simple way of playing with others and their characters or OC's. Dosent have to be as literate and played out just easy. Like this:
Ex. -flickers tail and yawns- Hmm..
Soap: A full out, literate, and a story plot that you and a partner or partners follow. More spelled out and thought out. Like..
Ex. Ally's hair flowed down her back in an endless stream of golden curls it seemed. Her dark blue eyes sparkled in the sun like diamonds. Her tan face brought out the freckles dusted bellow her eyes and along her cheeks. -

You learn as you go. Use good grammar and spelling as best as you can and just have fun. You'll get the hang of it.

okay, nice. how about character creation? isnt it like this:
name: example
age: number
looks: hair, eyes, skin color, height, build, any deformation if givin.
wears: clothing
gender: male/female
other: other background information
personality: how he/she acts and feels -

Roleplay and soap are the same.
A roleplay can be just as literate as a "soap". -
i could tell. and what is a pocky? explain further please.
