She was a little worried about Gabriel. Who was the man he'd let into the house?
-
Sam huffed. "Your lying boy..." Gab shrugged. "I always lie don't you know?" He said simply with a cocky grin. His Uncle rolled his eyes and stood. "Anyway, I only came to tell you to watch out. If they start burning the woods your house will go up because it's so close to the trees."
-
That really bothered her. It took all she had not to get up and go freeze the man.
-
Gabriel nodded and embraced his Uncle before showing him the way out. Once the horses hooves recided and their shape disappeared in the horizon. Gabriel relaxed and let out a long breath. "It's safe."
-
She slid off of the bed and opened the door. "Who was he?"
-
"My Uncle." He said quietly and stared out the window and not at her.
-
"He would've made a nice ice sculpture..." she murmured, partially joking.
-
A small smile splayed across his lips at that. "I'd back a better one." He said as he turned to look at her.
-
She shook her head. "He'd look lovely in the castle's entry on the back of that horse."
-
He shook his head. "You're so silly." He sighed softly and rubbed the back of his neck slowly.
-
"I suppose I should... I should make peace with them before they burn everything down." She sighed.
-
Gabriel shrugged. "Or.. We can move.. I always travel and trade things. I have a old cabin in Drimick." It was a few days travel away from here.
-
"That doesn't exactly go along with your idea of me going back to the village." She raised her hand to the glass and allowed frost to grow along it. She absentmindedly doodled in it.
-
"Then let's do that." He shrugged, he didn't care what they did. "Let's go today then." He suggested as he watched her.
-
"No. Definitely not today." She froze over what she'd doodled.
