*slips hand into Ben's as soon as she reaches him, staking another vamp* They're paying for it dearly. *eyes flash*
Gavin: *gingerly stands as well* Can I have a weapon?
Malik: *low chuckle, standing behind Gavin* -
-gunfire- I can't hold the line...
Lyra: -appears in the cave with the hostages, then they all glow, and dissappear, teleported outside.-
-To Ally only- Goodbye...
The cave explodes, and sinks down.
Lyra: Michael just... Flatlined. -
-whispers, eyes wide- No.. No.. No!
Ben: -looks in horror- -
*eyes widen* No. Lyra, that's not right. Check again.
Gavin: *blinks, looking terrified*
Malik: *didn't teleport with the rest of them, and is now just gone* -
Lyra: Checking... -furrows her brow- No sign... But I have a small residual signiture. A portal.
Frey: -that hope though-
Lyra: Update, new portal at the Institute... Open close... Your bedroom, Ally. -

-snaps open wings and is gone-
Ben; -blinks, heart pounding- We need a portal.. -
Gavin: I can open one.
*looks at Gavin* You can?
Gavin: Yes. It's one of the few things I'm really good at. *runs hand through his hair impatiently* -
-at the Institute, on their bed, is a box... Full of hot shell casings from the Desert Eagles-
Frey: Lyra, return to base. Gav, do it. -
-walks into room, shaking-
Ben: Come in Gav. Before something happens.. -
Gavin: *closes eyes tightly, and a grey portal forms in front of them*
*goes in first, letting go of Ben's hand* -
-inside is a note- Takes a whole lot more to bring me down.Love you.

-frustrated noise and throws hands up-
Ben: -quickly follows after Lone- -
Lyra: Ally? -behind her- Orders?

Gavin: *follows*
*they all appear outside of the Institute*
Gavin: *the portal disappears* I tried to do it in her room. Didn't work...I'm not used to doing it that far.
It's fine, Gavin. *heads for the Institute door*
