"Marcus," he replied, ignoring the first part. "Look, we should get off the street."
-
"Ok." she said bluntly and followed him.
-
"I'm going to guess you know the area better than me," he said. "Take me somewhere. But if you lead me into a trap, you die first."
-
"I don't die. And I have no need for traps dear." she said matter of factly and began to lead him down the street. The went up to an apartment complex that looked rundown on the outside. They stepped inside apartment 305 and the inside was entirely different. Black everywhere with hints of grey. It was modern yet beautiful looking. Black marble counter tops, black flat screen tv , and many other black accessories. "I stay here sometimes." she said laying her keys on the counter.

"Nice place," he commented, it was almost like his home. Dark, sleek.
-
"Thank you. You can take a seat on the couch if you'd like. Would you like something to drink?" she asked as she headed towards the fridge.
-
"Scotch?" he asked hopefully, watching her. She was cute... and he was pretty certain she wasn't with them. Marcus sat, as bidden, and watched her.
-
She grinned at the thought of his drink of choice. She poured him a glass of scotch on ice and grabbed herself a rum & coke. She sat on the couch next to him handing him the drink.
-
"Thanks," he said, accepting the glass. Marcus took a small sip and looked at her, unsure of what to do or say.
-
She took a swig and looked at Marcus. "So do you wanna tell me what all that was?" she asked as she took another swig.
-
"Lets just say that guy was following me, I didn't like it, so I ducked into the club and met your pretty ass," he explained with a grin, the alchohol kicking in.
-
"Oh ok, that'll work for now, and thank you by the way, you're not too bad yourself." she said with a seductive smile. She scooted a little closer to him.
-
He managed a shrug, smiling as she moved closer to him. "Sorry about being a dick though, I was... On edge."
-
"It's fine darling...sometimes we all get put on edge." she said and smiled. "You feeling the scotch yet?" she asked and giggled.
